If they were destroyed why didnt Saddam show us?
To this day there is still nearly 400 tons of Mustard gas missing and a few tons of VX.

Before you come back with your pre-programmed response about PNAC and stolen elections. Take the time to read this and let us know how anybody who has brain activity could have thought Saddam was clean.

http://www.un.org/Depts/unscom/Chronology/chronologyframe.htm

Clean? Who said anything about clean? I thought the issue was his imminent threat. Wasn't Saddam about to hit us with nuclear war?

And don't forget Saddam's fleet of drone aircraft that were going to spray chemical weapons on us.

Dumbest generation ever.

And now they're OK with Bush's brain being a traitor too.

Politics taints probe of CIA leak

Given the stakes, do you really think this administration would let a Justice Department official just pick some highly independent prosecutor to launch a wide ranging probe -- one that could net Novak, a reliable administration toady, and the chummy high officials Novak talks to, say, Rove or Vice President Dick Cheney?

Nor is it an accident that this investigation, rather than fingering whoever inside the administration broke the law by outing Valerie Plame, is instead putting the squeeze on two news organizations that just happen to have been critical of the Bush administration, Time magazine and The New York Times, and by extension the entire press corps.

Speaking of brain activity, you do have enough mental function left to realize that THERE ARE NO WMDs, don't you? And that Bush et al fit the evidence to their plans.

Or are you one of those who still believes that Bush invaded Iraq to bring all of those now dead Iraqis freedom and democracy?

I see you didnt bother to read the link and instead resorted to the brainless activity of your pre-programed responses.

.yawn

Just give up already kid. Your leaders are traitors and you refuse to admit it because your world will come tumbling down. You refuse to face the truth because the truth is just too painful for you to face.

So..all intelligence gathering stopped in 1999? Well, for all intents and purposes it did. All we had in 2001/2002 was Feith and Chalabi.

Why do you think it ended in 1999? How many UN inspections took place from Dec of 1998 until late 2002?

If Saddam was an imminent threat and there are so much chemicals still missing what was the rational that Bush had when he pulled out the inspectors after the country was "secured" ?

Geez... I hate to get back on topic here but Cooper just said that he is going to testify in front of the grand jury rather than go to jail. (Fox News 10:25am AST)

Should be interesting.

So now Bush invaded Iraq because Saddam invaded Kuwait twelve years earlier?

You are now past the point of ridiculous and into heretofore unexplored territory of idiocy.

I just read this at BuzzFlash. Seems to fitting for today's traitor in our midst. Maybe if you read it a few times you can figure this all out. But judging from past experience, I seriously doubt it.

Treason from Within

A BUZZFLASH NEWS ANALYSIS

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear."

-- Cicero Marcus Tullius, Born on January 3, 106 BC and was murdered on December 7, 43 BC.

*** More Cooper news ***

Cooper states the reason for changing his mind is that he received a phone call from his source absolving him of his obligation to protect his/her identity.

(Fox News 10:48am AST)

It just keeps getting better and better...

It's hard to believe that those reporters feel an obligation to protect a source that used that protection to commit a crime. We have some places in foreign countries where we could get them to testify.
