As I stated in my original post you can find it cheaper with one or more mail in rebates but I always forget to send them in (along with the majority of America) so this is the best price I have seen that did not involve a mail in.
I try to fill out the forms when I order or buy the item and I send FAR forms in as soon as I get the product. If there's a chance that I won't keep the product, I put a reminder on my calendar to generate an alarm 2 or 3 days before the submission deadline. When I mail it, I put a followup reminder for 8-12 weeks out, depending on the rebate rules. I don't think I've ever forgotten to submit one -- but I have occasionally forgotten to deposit the check before it expired :frown:
Note: One thing that helps me keep track of rebates is using the downloadable PDF forms whenever possible. I use the "typewriter" function of my PDF software (PDF-eXchange viewer is a free option) to fill in the form and save it on disk. I save all my scans in a Rebate [year] folder to be able to get to them easily.
