I suspect they scheduled a vote early next week so they can flush Kavanaugh down the toilet and get started with a new candidate from the Corporatist Society and still have time to ram him through in the lame duck. He should've done much more vetting on basically everyone, and the Republican party should have done more vetting on him (along with a lot of other people they have gotten involved with), and the American people should be doing more vetting of the people they put in power.
