I didn't have a chance to listen today have only seen clips but have a few observations.
Republicans hired a woman from 2000 miles away flew her in under the pretense they were trying to use a experienced sex crimes prosecutor to get to the truth. This experienced prosecutor was fired during her questioning of Kavanaugh. She was asking fact based questions so what was the problem?
He was completely evasive on questions about his drinking, in fact there was open hostility.
Dems were too deferential to him during his bouts of hostility. Dems should be told him to shut up, they ask the questions not him. He used that tactic when he didn't want to answer a question. I understand why they didn't.
Nobody took the tactic to attack his credibility by pointing out times during his confirmation process where he lied. His first statement after being nominated was a lie.
Question: "Is lying during your confirmation a disqualifier for approval"? Point out to him he said the following immediately after his nomination...
Did anyone ask him to submit to a polygraph? There are plenty of people who apply for high level jobs where this is required. Under the circumstances why can he take one? Ford's test was administered by an FBI agent so they could testify to its veracity.
Were there any questions where Ford seemed to be evasive? Did she avoid answering any question. Kavanaugh avoided many.

Clearly that is a lie. Two reasons, BK would not take the time to research every President efforts in choosing a nominee. Second we all Trump does not immerse himself in tedious background work. He doesn't even read his own PDBs. You can call this a little thing but why tell an obvious lie during this process. How can you trust someone with big thing when they will lie about little things?I have witnessed firsthand your appreciation for the vital role of the American judiciary. No president has ever consulted more widely or talked with more people from more backgrounds to seek input about a supreme court nomination.
