How do you expect justice to be served in this matter? It's a 30 year cold case with no evidence, and you have 3 eye-witnesses that give 3 different stories. The FBI is going to be making a report on Friday, what is the problem?

Justice would be served by not allowing him on the SC. I believe that's all what Ford had in mind, not any delusions he would go to prison for it. I disagree completely with your assertion of "no evidence". That's laughable. There's a lot suggesting that he did it (whether it constitutes enough for "beyond a reasonable doubt" is irrelevant). Hell, another accuser came forward with a sworn statement. From studies, women lying about sexual assault or fudging some facts is quite low (i.e. 1-8%). Probably more for famous/public officials, but we also have multiple accusers coming forward. He has to be one unlucky man for none of them to be telling the truth.

You don't have to go all the way back to the start -- maybe read a few pages to get some context before you jump in.

And yes, Kavanaugh hates women. If a judge is being appointed in hopes he'll one day overturn Roe v. Wade, he revels in the suffering of women. His immature response to Ford's testimony certainly doesn't show respect.

Also, please remember: Kavanaugh has told demonstrable lies multiple times, and remained evasive on other questions. You can't trust anything he says. Even if you buy his claims about the attempted rape, someone who has repeatedly lied in testimony should be automatically disqualified from a Supreme Court position. Do you at least accept that obvious, absolute truth?

Kavanaugh, needless to say, did not take my advice. He stayed in, and he delivered on Thursday, by way of defense, a howl of rage. He went on the attack not against Ford—for that we can be grateful—but against Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee and beyond. His opening statement was an unprecedentedly partisan outburst of emotion from a would-be justice. I do not begrudge him the emotion, even the anger. He has been through a kind of hell that would leave any person gasping for air. But I cannot condone the partisanship—which was raw, undisguised, naked, and conspiratorial—from someone who asks for public faith as a dispassionate and impartial judicial actor. His performance was wholly inconsistent with the conduct we should expect from a member of the judiciary.
