When have I insulted you? I am pretty sure I rarely if ever have insulted anybody on this forum. I try to not engage in ad hominem. For you it seems like your bread and butter.

Maybe you need to go to bed, the internet seems to be too much for you.

Seriously give this a try, try going a day without news and internet forums, compare that day, to a day on the news and internet.

Decide if it is helping your life. My guess is that it is not. I didn't deserve to be called that, and you did it out of anger and frustration, and i forgive you, but why invite that anger and frustration into your life? It can be better than this.
Phew! Quite a lot of shit you're shoveling there.

Don't spend another thought on me though. Get your own house in order.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Voting tends to run counter to policy success, not for it. Republicans would likely do better in the midterms if Kavanaugh’s nomination failed than if it succeeds.

This isn't about policy success I don't believe. I think the same benefit is had regardless of whether he takes his seat unless more than a small minority of Republicans vote against him and in doing so use clear and direct reasoning rather than "unresolved concerns" or something similar. This is not about winning the seat. It's about galvanizing over the threat progressive values pose to their sense of power and entitlement. It is something common to all Republicans that Trump seized but unappealingly to many. Now they have a unifying representation of the energy that defending against this threat poses that is disconnected from Trump. Or at least doesn't require connection to Trump to get behind.

If I'm a piece of shit, i can't shovel shit, what I can do is maybe roll downhill into more shit, and become a shit avalanche. Maybe even a shitstorm! haha.

Just so we are clear, many people believe Ford still. This is also about how he handled the credible but likely unprovable accusations.

Honesty and respect have always been a standard for confirmation hearings. This is merely a more demonstrable and certain way in which he has failed. Not that it is likely to actually stop his confirmation.

When asked multiple times, nobody gave your response. Thank you for your bravery standing by her and her allegations when others have pivoted to a new tactic. Your input is valued here and I think most people can count on you for a level headed response. Thanks.

I will bet Stormy Daniels will disagree..

Well since Trump paid her for her expertise in the matter..

I cant imagine anybody of any notoriety will have sex with her anymore now that she has been revealed as a kisser and teller. I assume it was worth it though.

I guess what I’m saying is that grievance would have been much stronger had he lost than had he won. People forget much more quickly than you might think.

To put things in perspective the Access Hollywood tape came out October 7th.

No one owed you that response, victim. And he's far from alone in believing Ford of the people on this board, but what she endured had no effect on the stalwart dismissive assclown Republicans.

By pointing to Kav's lies, the hope is that it will penetrate their facade of honor and integrity and shake them loose of their horrifying commitment to dismantling the pillars of normal society, like public trust.

It's not a pivot because we abandon her. It's a pivot to continue fighting for her.

That you needed people to explain that to you is more evidence of your shit brain, shit stain.

And it's mentioned in this forum almost every day. So it's not accurate that people forget.

That would be my hope for practicality sake. However, I think a confirmation means Democrats won't be willing to give up their injustice and will continue to dig up dirt on Kavanaugh well into November.

It’s been confirmed by Kavanaughs freshman year roommate the Devils Triangle is about sex.

I do not know if Brett attacked Christine Blasey Ford in high school or if he sexually humiliated Debbie in front of a group of people she thought were her friends. But I can say that he lied under oath. He claimed that he occasionally drank too much but never enough to forget details of the night before, never enough to “black out.” He did, regularly. He said that “boofing” was farting and the “Devil’s Triangle” was a drinking game. “Boofing” and “Devil’s Triangle” are sexual references. I know this because I heard Brett and his friends using these terms on multiple occasions.

Well I guess we have yet another s/he said s/he said or they said they said. What a mess.

He didn't quite say that, it was Brett and his friends used the term. Did he make the claim under oath? Was it actually Brett or just his companions?

Its amazing that this is the bar you set for proving Kavanagh lied and yet, just yesterday, you posted a 4chan picture of a letter from an ex boyfriend as proof that ford was lying about multiple things. Not once did you question the source. Not once did you say you wouldn't believe the letter until the guy made the claim under oath. Not once did you question the relationship at all.

YOU ARE A FUCKING HYPOCRITE!

Fucking drug users.

I know that is the trend, but this is the topsy turvy Trump world and I'm not sure the conventional way of looking at things applies when it comes to midterms. His base is in a frenzy. If Republicans do well, I expect America to excel under his leadership.

This is what I've been thinking.

Actually stopping the seat being filled was an extreme longshot.

Just stopping K-bro without having the Senate just means some other horrible pick follows.

This is the second best outcome (assuming he's narrowly confirmed) where K, Trump and the whole GOP had been severally damaged and exposed from this.

K-bro has no credibility, neither will the court, and the slapshod investigation just means further investigation once favorable conditions return.

I don't think dragging out the inevitable helps any more for Nov. It's about played out.

I'd rather see it wrap up, then put more attention on all the other Trump failures and outrages.

If you feel terrible that it's come to this, thank McConnell for desecrating the process.
