That would be my hope for practicality sake. However, I think a confirmation means Democrats won't be willing to give up their injustice and will continue to dig up dirt on Kavanaugh well into November.

Forget stopping in November. If Democrats take the House I would put the other Kavanaugh witnesses up before Congress. I would also subpoena all records and communications the FBI got from the White House and Congress pertaining to this most recent FBI investigation.

The thing is many of those slang terms are very widely known and Kavanaugh's rather unique new interpretations are obvious deliberate and intentional misstatements while under oath. Whether you characterize them as "white lies" or "lies" is irrelevant, the come away conclusion to a huge chunk of America is that he lied under oath and will be rewarded for that-by being placed on the highest court of the land, to be one of the final judges of all of our rights and freedoms.

All because he is a get out of jail card for His Donaldship. If Kavanaugh gets on the Court expect the Mueller investigation to be dissolved without a conclusion. America is no longer the shining hope for the rest of the world. We are becoming a gross and obscene banana republic, well on our way to become a has-been. My parents were members of the Greatest Generation-it is mind-boggling to me how far we have fallen since then-all because of own damn fault, cynicism and laziness.
