You guys have a really twisted idea of what that means. The presumption of innocence applies to the accused, not the accuser.Wait. What happened to Innocent until proven Guilty?
Ahahaha, lovely! Thanks for that.I hope you get raped.

I don’t agree with it, but I don’t find it extremist or disqualifying. So you agree with this statement of Kavanaugh that when ISPs are editors and speakers when they transmit your speech”
I don’t agree with it, but I don’t find it extremist or disqualifying.
Perjury is disqualifying, not judicial perspective.
Ginning up false 36 year old accusations and dragging the whole country though the mud is putting party and ideology before country for sure; if any of what you say has merit, chalk it up to tit-for-tat.
Associate Justice Kavanaugh has been sworn in.
I'm so tired of winning.
Good job!
I disagree. Avenatti deserves all of the blame for diluting the legitimate accusations with his nonsense. Avenatti is who emboldened the GOP to go on offense.I don't think Avenatti really had much impact on all of this and people who say that he did are just looking for someone to blame. The Republicans didn't need him to dismiss the allegations before the Senate since they had already decided to anyway.
Not really. Again, there exists no right for any particular accusation to be believed, or even taken seriously. This has nothing whatever to do with the presumption of innocence. You just accused Ford of falsely accusing. The shoe is now on your foot.
What's funny is that you've somehow convinced yourself that you know anything about me based on a few, probably troll, posts on an internet message board. You don't have a clue. What’s funny is that you probably disagree with most of what his judicial philosophy stands for but you don’t even know it. For you it’s all about emotional tribalism.
Good job!

oh, they were totally reasonable and rational prior to avenatti getting into the fray with themAvenatti as reponsible for the Trumpification of our politics is a tough sell.
I did you a favor and read your post to my wife and daughter, so they know my side of the story and yours now, too. My OPINION is that the accusations are false, and until due process takes place and there is a trial, we are all free to speculate as we please. I think Ford is simply mistaken in her recollection. That has been known to happen with memories so old.How do you know they're false? It's funny how folks like you will lie about wanting people to be "innocent until proven guilty" (this wasn't a court) about Kavanaugh, but will insist that you're completely sure Ford was lying. Apparently you support women only up until they accuse Republicans, then they magically become bitch slut whore liars.
You are a sexual assault apologist, and I hope the women in your life find this out. Even if Kavanaugh didn't do what he's accused of, you took the accusations so lightly that you should be ashamed of yourself as a human being.
They didn't. The Republicans successfully stonewalled the bigger issues by refusing to disclose Kavanaugh's record. In the face of the impossibility of getting access to Kavanaugh's legal writings, the Dems used what they had. Based on what has been released about Kavanaugh we can conclude that he supports torture and war crimes. The level of his depravity is unknown but given the Republican fear of his writings being daylighted, it must be deep indeed. Here we are after 3 weeks of pearl clutching and high drama, and the vote went pretty much exactly as it would have 3 weeks back. Mrs Ford and Kavanaugh managed to score half a million bucks each, so I guess it was worth it to them.
I think the dems made a mistake bringing Mrs. Ford forward and making it the central issue of the conformation process. At the end of the day, all it did was piss off both sides.
I'd like to see us move away from emotion and grievance as the two driving forces in politics, wishful thinking I know, but I hope springs eternal and all that.
Yes really. You specifically said the allegations were false. Not really. Again, there exists no right for any particular accusation to be believed, or even taken seriously. This has nothing whatever to do with the presumption of innocence.
It's rub your nose in it and swat you on your backside for playing dirty. Next time let's stick to the nominee's official record, shall we? But there wasn't much there to hang a hat on, so it had to get nasty, and people saw right through it as the desperate dirty trick that it was.
Ah, you too? At one point this would have disturbed me, but now I'll take it as a badge of honor. Thank you.The Republicans hid Kavanaugh's official record, you fascist fuck.
Wallow in it; you've earned it.Ah, you too? At one point this would have disturbed me, but now I'll take it as a badge of honor. Thank you.
Seems like ignorance is the only badge you've brought to the table.Ah, you too? At one point this would have disturbed me, but now I'll take it as a badge of honor. Thank you.
The big problem we have now is that that the presumption of innocence is being turned on its head.Yes really. You specifically said the allegations were false.
From the person who can't understand the most basic precept of common law.Seems like ignorance is the only badge you've brought to the table.
