I’ve been trying to think of a solution to the be said she said assault cases like this.

Conservative men have a hard time understanding why women who are assaulted won’t come forward.

We of course know studies have shown many reasons why.
  • Maintains a sense of normalcy
  • Maintains a sense of control over the situation
  • Avoid shame and ridicule (remember many evangelical women are told women who have sex out of wedlock are like used chewing gum for example)
  • Etc
But fancy studies and learn’n ain’t gonna convince your average conservative. So I decided to try and think like a conservative.

Once I did, the solution was obvious:
  • Stand your ground laws
  • Arm all women - teens and older
This fixes so many problems. Drunken entitled prep school quarterback pins you to a bed? A couple of 38 rounds in the kidney should take care of that.

Shootings would take care of the immediate reporting of the assault. No need to worry about a woman accusing a man years later. If you don’t have a 4 inch hole in your back you’re pretty much innocent.

He said she said? Not anymore. Now it’s she said and Smith and Wesson agrees.

Conservatives claim you can’t teach boys that no means no and that women need to dress correctly if they don’t want to be assaulted. Well dressing correctly now includes packing and guys who haven’t learned to take NO for an answer now can learn about consequences.

Now normally I’d point out that increasing the number of people going around armed, especially to parties with alcohol, is going to increase the number of accidental shootings and that studies show a significant portion of people who are armed end up having their weapon used against them, but since I’m thinking like a conservative I don’t have to worry about evidence I don’t like.

Just think about how nice our society would be if all the would-be sexual assaulters were shot when they were in high school or college.

Wow, a whole 18% worse than the Obama administration in the first 8 months of the Trump Administration. Horrible, just horrible performance.

"an 18 percent increase over the previous year. "

"In other cases, the times the government said it would be illegal under other U.S. laws to release requested information nearly doubled to 63,749. Those laws include broad prohibitions against revealing details about U.S. intelligence activities or foreign governments, trade secrets, individual banking or tax records and more. "

Many of those prevented by laws passed by the Obama administration , such as the one mentioned earlier in this thread about the FBI/Senate investigations.

So you are blaming the Trump Administration for not releasing documents that the Obama Administration passed laws to stop. Thank "the most transparent administration in history" lol

So let me get this straight. Under Obama, you complain that FOIA request took too long. Under trump, where it takes 18% longer, you have no complaints.

Lol thanks for proving my point water boy.

Oh, and about your claim of the Obama administration passing laws (besides your obvious ignorance of civics) on how the FBI handles FOIA requests:

https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2016/06/congress-passes-foia-reform-lawmakers

And under trump here's what they did:

https://reason.com/reasontv/2017/03/01/freedom-information-act-rule-change-foia

So again, water boy, not only do you continue to lie, you also continue to be a hypocrite.

HAHAHAHA!

He "possibly" did something 35 years ago and you're going into hysterics over it. LOL.

Well, I didn't want to bring this up, but bryce jones touched my wiener 35 years ago. I told him no, but he forced himself on me. Everyone I claim saw it might say they don't remember it or even refute it. I don't remember how I met him, where it was, when it was, or what happened after, but I'm 100% sure it was bryce jones. I demand that he lose his job and be publicly humiliated, otherwise you're supporting a rapist. Also, please donate to my gofundme to show how much you hate conservatives and predators.

See how easy that was? How are you ever going to prove me wrong when every one now is convinced by nothing more than their emotions that you groped me? And you guys are dumb enough to fall for it.

0/10, I was 11, you have to prove that you knew me, that you told your therapist 6 years ago about it, and then have me lie about other aspects of my behavior around that time and have numerous people come forward to say that I was lying.

You haven't really thought this one through have you?

Then why would anyone drag someone through a Senate investigation that wanted to remain unknown?

That is pretty cruel on the part of the democrats IMO.

Only 3 people knew, Ford, Eschoo and Feinstein. I guess we will never know who 'leaked' her name to the public just in time before the Senate hearings. Ford approached the democrats in July with the explicit condition of remaining anonymous but the story gets leaked in September when the confirmation hearings start. pretty sure that was just a strange coincidence...

Guess the democrats didn't have a problem with the fact that they lied to Ford when they told here that the the Senate committee would NOT fly out to CA to interview her which was completely false. Where is the outrage over this lie?

We have the next 30 years to investigate Kavanaugh and thankfully there are dozens of witnesses just waiting to be interviewed publicly in congress about how they saw Brett Kavanugh exposing himself and trying to rape girls. He will never, ever live this down. He will not be on the court for more than a few years.

In the meantime, let's all enjoy the surge in enthusiasm that nominating this rapist will bring the democrats in november. We will take back the house and make them all pay. We will make Benghazi look like Ford's FBI "investigation".

Good times are coming for Democrats.

Ford has a 700k+ gofundme to continue her crusade but she wants no involvement moving forward and doesn't want Kavanaugh impeached. This is probably just going to fade away without her cooperation.

Why is Ford necessary to impeach Kavanaugh? He appears to have perjured himself on a wide range of issues, of which Ford is only one.

There’s no way the GOP would convict on an impeachment of him but what Democrats can do is do a real investigation of Kavanaugh and uncover all the lies he told to get on the court and this will undermine his and the Republican majority’s legitimacy.

Everyone you named that has never been found guilty of a crime. You are finding them guilty without due process. It's what lynch mobs do. A picture? a tape? Incomplete investigation? Why bother, just string them up. They're Republicans and conservatives, they deserve it.
Did you get the part where Trump ADMITTED to crimes? He also has a pending trial for more crimes

Notice the White House only fired Rob Porter AFTER it came out in the press? I guess she fell down the stairs.

Does Trump really care about due process? Did you look up the Central Park 5? Batcha didn't because that would answer the question. You people are so allergic to facts.

Apparently YOU do not, cause then you'd know.
You are fucking insulting everyone who has either gone through it or been a bystander for the aftermath. Fuck you. Frag fool.
You're an idiot. You're angry because I don't agree with your view and opinion. That somehow I'm required to believe every accusation, no matter how nonsensical.
https://www.city-journal.org/rape-16216.html

"In 1985, Ms. magazine published a study by psychologist Mary Koss that gave rise to the statistic that one in four college females would be sexually assaulted during college. The study also found that 42 percent of putative rape victims went on to have intercourse again with their alleged assailant—a behavior inconceivable in the case of actual rape. In fact, it was the researcher herself who classified the subjects as victims; 73 percent of the women whom the researcher designated as rape survivors said that they hadn’t been raped, when asked directly."

Would an investigation into perjury of a sitting justice include just Kavanaugh or all of them?

There is probably enough transcripts of every justice saying something under oath that it would keep the FBI busy for years.

If you have any examples where you believe a justice perjured themselves by all means include it! What would those be? With Kavanaugh there are at least two very strong cases that he perjured himself, one with the stolen democratic documents and one where he claimed no prior knowledge of accusations against him yet there are texts involving him coordinating strategy about them.

Also, reviewing the justices’ statements under oath would probably not take long at all as there probably isn’t very much of it. I mean what would there be other than their confirmation hearings?

4. Yes.

We could ask the various media outlets that received the leak. I'm sure that in the interests of transparency they'd be happy to let the People of the United States know the truth.
LOL, who am i kidding?
What interest do those media concerns have about informing citizens of the truth?

You're the one have difficulty in understanding that paragraph. My bet is that reading the entire story was just too much for your limited intelligence.

You can't possibly know for sure that only 3 people knew. Assertion is not fact.

You need a source for any of that to be valid. Then you need to tell us why it matters other than it gives you the nice warm fuzzies of faux outrage.

Grabbing women by their genitals without permission is assault. He also admitted in a radio interview to being a sexual predator.

Again, Donald Trump who is President doesn't give a rats ass about due process for black people. I guess you are on board with that as well.

Rob Porter has been abusing women for year but like you nobody cared. White House knew about it.

What happened to the good ole' days when the standards of behavior were higher because the Negro was President. When you could be held accountable for a sermon given by Jeramiah Wright when Obama wasn't even there when "God damn America" was used, ignoring in the context of the entire sermon was not a bad thing. Funny how this White House has so many direct associations with abusers of women and dirtbags.

Bullshit if they liked it.

You mean the sort of domestic abuse Democratic Senator Tom Harper committed as he sat in judgement?
or Sen. Groping Spartacus Booker?

Going way, way out there aren't you?
