Never used the word passive. I listed two things I do, vote and make donations to causes that advance my interests. Oh, and occasionally rail on this forum (and yes, venting here, as I did when Trump won, can be cathartic). Otherwise, I find less and less use for anger. I definitely approve of anybody who can abandon the useless via the realization of how useless it is. But that is not my situation. What I see is how profoundly angry I am and how much of my life is consumed by it, how much suffering I bring to those around me as a result of it, and no matter how aware of these things I am, I can’t break the hold it has on me.I believe @Moonbeam would heartily approve.
Hahaha, Moonbeam, let me tell you a story. No sooner had we finished this post we wrote than a episode from an ancient TV show appeared out of nowhere in my half of our wit. It was a Kung Fu story where Grasshopper teaches a huge bear of a man who is so loving and kind and anger free that he is abused by everyone around him.
