I can’t remember if I posted this before or not but it reminds me of a story I saw recently where Republicans were having difficulty making their voters believe they were in electoral trouble this November and so they should go vote. They found that their voters would simply decide any news they didn’t like wasn’t real and so they weren’t concerned about a possible democratic victory.

You're an interesting bird, Jaskalas: A converted neo-con that has realized the error of decades of shitty, nation-killing conservative policy, but there is some sort of social aspect still in your craw....the idea that sexual abuse isn't sexual abuse because women have their place and men have their place: "shut up and take it, bitch."

It's disappointing, but just confirms that fact that conservatism is a toxic disease. It persists and festers in all logic and moral centers of the human mind, and possibly depending on the age in which the individual was infected with conservatism, and lived their formative years enthralled by the conservative disease, there are just certain chronic symptoms that one must live with until their death.

She said she did not have any in depth detailed conversations with anyone about it. She or someone else may have said he tried to attack her though but didn't go into specific details.
