holy shit....

...which one is currently accused of being his wife?

D:

seriously...I have no idea. If it is the brunette to his right, possibly the least-vomitous one?....then that still isn't a good look.

Holy shit. Ain't no way any human woman wants to be near this rapist. Seriously. Look at bud-breath man.

Divorce filings within a year. I mean....I don't want anyone to get destroyed by a dog-and pony show like this, but I think he probably shouldn't have raped all those women. I mean...right?

Raise your hand, proud rapist-defending conservatives of the Bret Kavanaugh fan club, if you have ever been "falsely" accused of rape?

anyone?

seriously...anyone?

Is "#1 Stephon Curry Fan" still posting? wut?

You are an apologist toad. This isn't a criminal trial. Stick that bullshit up your nose.

In his country the authoritarian right is kicking judges out of office it doesn't like so they can be replaced with more pliable candidates. Guru really needs to focus at home.

Another line of possibl
It wasn't and for a future supreme court judge it was pretty disrespectful and uncalled for, which is why he probably apologized for it later.
She wasn't the only one where he evaded questions about his drinking.

How does that turn him into a liar that committed perjury at a Senate hearing?

He was asked what devil's triangle and booting referred to. He lied in his answer. Pretty simple. There has never been a drinking game called Devil's Triangle.

I now understand why Senator Blumenthal asked Kavanaugh about "Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus".

you are one giant asshole. you sure have been laser focusing the rapist accusations. humm you know how it the most rabid gay haters turn out to be gay or dabble a bit with the gay? maybe you need a little investigation into your past, maybe there is a woman out there who has something to say. just saying your rabid rhetoric is suspicious.

Cool man,

bring it.

I look forward to you exposing my homo-rape past.

How in the world would you know what him and his high school buddies call toots and drinking games? I used to play a drinking game called pegofenalia. How would you know?

Another line of missed questioning?

Remember that letter where 65 women from high school vouched for him? That's a lot of women when he went to an all boys high school. When Ford's story broke that letter came out a few days later. Clearly he though he need affirmation from a lot of women. Why? He does not have a similar latter from men. Clearly he knew there were bad things in his past involving women for which he needed cover.

Because the NYT asked his high school buddies of the same era??
Cool, give me about 60 of their answers that they never heard the words , but even if you got someone his age from the same high school that didn't know the words that would still not be enough for me to say he lied.

Sorry, never heard of any of them. Not "boofing" and not "devil's triangle". This was in a pre-internet, pre-google, pre-wikipedia time.

I am not arguing what the term means or what it does not mean. You specifically said that you didn't believe an anonymous tweet that shows that someone from a congressional IP address modified the wiki page.

I thought initially that the WH might be involved, back when Ford said that Whelan was looking into her LinkedIn page BEFORE her name was public.

But...it doesn't really pass Occam's Razor. Sure this WH is capable of self ownage, but far-fetched to think leaking the first allegation would net them any gain. More likely, it was one of Ford's friends she told while at the beach in July. I think one of her friends was worried after the hearings ended with no mention of it, and leaked just enough details for reporters to start digging.

I think the friend makes the most sense. Yes, Occam's Razor and all (I didn't actually know about the friends while I spent the day mired and work and catching up on tidbits here and there, and then the Mom mentioned this to me over the phone--the friends, that is, that supposedly started talking).

That is where, I think, the easiest explanation lies.

But I also don't doubt that this wasn't already purview of the WH. The FBI did their background check--so gleefully submitted here and endlessly reminded for us by the proud, the dumb, the imbeciles of the GOP posters....because, you know, the FBI provided a shit ton of documents to the WH...apparently, doing a background check that, by FBI standards, never involved the candidates HS history and friends and legions of people that knew him throughout the year.

obviously, the FBI includes none of that in a "routine" background check. I mean, there is plenty of other stuff to cram into 100-200k documents! Documents taht the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary committee have absolutely no business seeing!

because reasons, obviously.

Look, I live in DCMA. About 2 miles from the border. I've been approached at my house, after work, while walking into my house, by the same type of government background check agents. For just...regular fed jobs. Asking about neighbors, just because of a promotion. This is someone working on the periphery, whom I've known for....2 years, tops? and have spoken to about 6 times ever. I get grilled for about 30 minutes, answering questions that go back to childhood, personal, and potential secret lives.

Seriously. "Do you know this person to have any kind of life other than what you know?"

I mean, this is what they do. They compile evidence. And facts, and testimony. It's called being thorough. And I don't even know the person, really....and they happen to be about 1,967 rungs below someone like a SCOTUS appointee.

Just let that shit sink in, and try to let any conservative idiot convince you that the FBI didn't investigate this guy, that they didn't uncover his famously rapey history--that many of his classmates have admitted to and his yearbook provides a "hilariously convenient" timeline and documentation of--and that they didn't submit this to the WH.

Just let them try to tell you this, and please try not to laugh in their corpulent faces when they finish speaking.

Take it down a notch Zinny. Age like a fine wine.

Nvm, both of you are aholes. LOL welcome to politics.

I felt dirty posting that. I really did. There was a real pause before hitting "Post Reply"

But then I recalled that the dude is an unapologetic rat-fucker, and I reminded myself that I don't give a shit about his feels. He's dosed on oxy and angel dust anyway. No one cares what he thinks.

How would the WH cover up something in an FBI background check? Wouldn't the Committee just get those documents anyway? I'm not convinced McGahn is hiding anything.
