No evidence? We have three uncorroborated rape accusations, each more ridiculous than the last, calculated to destroy the reputation of an otherwise entirely decent man, in order to effect political ends.

Look up the definition of defamation and tell me this doesn't fit it.
What makes him decent? Can you even articulate it?

This whole thing looks like a smear campaign by the Dems to try and push the vote to after the midterm. Pretty underhanded below the belt move on their part.

Oh look the chain-smoker is back!

That doesn't make any sense, because it was keeping that open SCOTUS seat in 2016 that really brought out the GOP thundercunts to show up and vote for the clown. Republicans are showing historically low motivation and numbers going into this one, and without something like a vacant SCOTUS seat, they'll likely stay home.

what 6 background checks done by the FBI? I recall this only out of Trump's rambling toddler screed at the UN the other day.

Is there an actual source for these supposed 6 FBI background checks? ....also, how many promotions has he received that actually required 6 background checks? I can understand 2, at least, for his federal employment, but 6 seems excessive for such an innocent man.
Certainly none of the previous investigations involved investigating THESE allegations... since they weren't know to the investigators.

I've said it a few times now. You don't think women count as people. They are beneath you.

And one day one of them is not going to help you and it will confirm this pre-existing bias you maintain and espouse.

Sigh.

And as I said before, I think women are every bit as human as men are, to the extent that they should be held to the same standards men are. Namely, being expected to provided evidence for allegations.

Conservatives tend not to prejudge based on sex or race. That's the domain of the left these days.

Why are they ridiculous? As for why they are 'uncorroborated' that's because Republicans refuse to investigate them. You're trying to use Republicans' own efforts to cover this up to defend their other actions.

And why is Kavanaugh a decent man? Usually decent people don't repeatedly lie under oath.

Look up the definition of defamation and tell me this doesn't fit it.

This does not fit it. Defamation requires knowingly making false statements about someone to damage their reputation. Since you have no idea if these statements are false or not, they aren't defamation.

It's very interesting how your insistence on corroborating evidence for Kavanaugh instantly evaporates when it comes to his accusers. Why the double standard?

Somebody leaked the letter to The Intercept. It was either Ford/Feinstein or it was stolen. Somebody is lying or a crime was committed.
No, someone leaked the existence of a letter to the Intercept...not the actual letter. That's why I think it's way more plausible that it was one of Ford's friends and not Feinstein or her staff.

Read the Intercept article: https://theintercept.com/2018/09/12/brett-kavanaugh-confirmation-dianne-feinstein/

This is what they know--it's someone from Stanford University, they've retained a lawyer, and that Feinstein has her letter. These are all details Ford's friends would know, as they were at the beach with her when she wrote it.

We covered this before, the right is more racist than the left these days and it's not even close.

https://www.cambridge.org/core/jour...t-sentiments/537A8ABA46783791BFF4E2E36B90C0BE

Based on a sample of the 2016 Cooperative Congressional Election Survey, our analyses suggest that a Trump vote cannot be explained by a lack of trust in politics or low levels of satisfaction with democracy, as would be assumed given the extant literature on protest voting. However, indicators of racist resentment and anti-immigrant sentiments proved to be important determinants of a Trump vote—even when controlling for more traditional vote-choice determinants.

Republican voters were voting because of race, not Democratic ones.

Exactly. Notice your own words. You limit the extent to which they are the same as men. Thank you for being so open about your deep rooted discomfort with women.

The ABA is toothless in this matter. An FBI background investigation has been conducted on Kavanaugh six times throughout his career. Even if, it's pointless, as they would come back with the same information that has already been presented, only delaying the process, to get to the same point we are already at. It's a redundant fools errand, and quite unnecessary. The only ones hollering for it, are doing so for the delay it would cause, not so much caring whether or not anything new turns up. Motive noted.
The letter written wasn't written by the ABA, it was only written by President Carlson of the ABA. It wasn't voted on or endorsed by the members of the ABA.

There was also that whole other Congressional office that had access to the letter...

Goal post move again, I see. Let's stick to honest debate shall we? No more goal post moves. Are you saying that if the minority leader told the majority leader at the time of receiving the letter, we would be in the position we're in? You think I give two shits about a rich Yale grad? No, I care about the due process, and how this impacts the republic.

uh what? you claimed something false as a springboard for your argument, you were called on it and proven to be wrong, asked to re-examine your very same claim but with understanding of the actual fact of the matter....and then you claim fskimposy moved the goal posts?

Lol--they have been sitting in the same place for a page, while you sit there and wave around some false claim that the minority committee members have subpeona powers. The goal posts didn't go anywhere. The fact was established, but it looks like you simply abandoned your argument and offered up....something? Oh, a moved goal post with no defense of your earlier, certain claim.

The reason no one argues with you and other retarded conservatives is that you are fundamentally dishonest and intellectually corrupt in your reasoning. You have no desire to actually debate within the same set of unalterable facts that exist for everyone.

Man, they love calling out Avenatti as an enemy. And they shouldn't considering his track record. That's a dumb fight to pick.

I wonder if they'll call out Farrow, too.

No way! Let me find and cite a progressive Democrat publication from a liberal University that refutes you ! huff huff

Which explains conservatives falling for Trump's Mexican rapists routine- hook, line & sinker.

Here we go again, can't even keep a straight face. Your friend said that the Senate cannot get a subpoena! I said they could, and told him. He came back and said the minority couldn't. Well no F'ing shit sherlock. I also stated that the minority leader could have sent it to the majority, at the time of receiving the letter. You MOVED the goalposts.

Is it fair to deny Kavanaugh over this un-proven allegation? Even disregarding that the allegation is not proven, let's say for argument's sake that he did this to Ford as a drunken teenager 35 years ago. If he has had a feckless record since and done nothing of the sort throughout his adult life, how long should we punish him and keep him from a job he's well qualified for?

I wonder how many other jobs lower than the Supreme Court you can't get if you drunkenly attempted to rape someone as a teenager.

I bet a lot.
