An FBI background investigation has been conducted on Kavanaugh six times throughout his career. Even if, it's pointless, as they would come back with the same information that has already been presented, only delaying the process, to get to the same point we are already at. Even disregarding that the allegation is not proven, let's say for argument's sake that he did this to Ford as a drunken teenager 35 years ago.
