It's weird how so many of the allegations are from all around the same time in his life, but that's not compelling to these fucking partisan hacks.

He doesn't have a "feckless record". There is a lot to suggest that he isn't impartial, and a lot of that surely stems from his obvious character traits during high school/college.

There is a lot to investigate. The principle witness judge and many other potential witnesses. It's outrageous that this guy gets to get away with so many perjuries. It's such bullshit.

The answer from the GOP is "Yeh, well, Fuck You! Right in the ass! We're slamming this home & there's nothing you can do about it!"

Kavanaugh will carry forward the right wing class warfare agenda of the GOP for decades to come.

Especially the one that he and Judge raped a girl on a boat in Rhode Island and then were severely beaten for it by her friends.

I'm not rationalizing that. I'm saying that an honest, clearly traumatized victim of attempted rape was willing to brave death threats and hours of brutal questioning to get out her version of the story, while Kavanaugh has already been proven a habitual liar. As scrounging as the Democrats' tactics may have been, they have the moral superiority here.
Everyone allegedly at that party have not in any way corroborated her account. I guess they're all lying as well. Am I right?

Good, i'd rather have a NO vote from him and his Senate seat after the elections.

Politically if Kavanaugh is confirmed it's not likely to appreciably hurt Donnelley's re-election prospects. For some Democratic strategists this is an optimal scenario if all D senators can vote against him, he gets confirmed anyway, and the piece is off the board. Leaves R voters fat and lazy and D voters incandescently angry.

I see now why the Republicans are so desperate to jam this conspiracy nutter judge through

If I understand correctly, Gamble vs. US will decide whether the one crime could be prosecuted by both the federal and state laws. This does seem relevant, since the President can pardon federal criminals but not state.

If you check out SCOTUS blog, you will see that on next month's docket is: Gamble v. U.S., No. 17-646. Issue(s): Whether the Supreme Court should overrule the "separate sovereigns" exception to the double jeopardy clause (where you can be charged twice, via State and Federal charges, for the same crimes). The plan was to appoint Kavanaugh early this week so that he would be seated in time for this ruling.
Of course, he's thinking about Don jr and Kushner, and himself he wants to be able to pardon them.

That's what you guys are running with? Ok... the case is cracked. LOL I wonder what is in my highschool yearbook? No more promotions for me.
Right. You can't refute them.

Lies. Told by someone who wants a seat on the SCOTUS. Told to the Senate.

Kav perjured himself.

I didn't get busted over anything. You're the truly ignorant person here. You have little knowledge of the process, and little knowledge of history. You CLEARLY stated they didn't have subpoena power, the Senate DOES!!! FFS get that through your damn head.

I said the minority committee investigators did not have subpoena power, which is undeniably true.

You're embarrassing yourself.

Rationality ended when we started legitimizing defamation when it's done against Republicans.
Yeah, Republicans would never do that, especially on a Swift Boat. You all lack any ability at rational thought. Anything your team does is justified, anything the other team does is an unprecedented assault.

How about questioning someone's citizen and religion with no evidence?

Are you really this dense? He's under oath lying (a felony!) for even trivial shit that wouldn't even "get" him by itself. What do you think he'll do for the bigger shit? It's funny because the conservatives have made a big deal since Bill Clinton to suggest perjuries are super serious even if it's for lies that aren't criminal in nature.

Small lies matter, even about yearbooks. From the standard jury instruction: “If a witness is shown knowingly to have testified falsely about any material matter, you have a right to distrust such witness' other testimony and you may reject all the testimony of that witness ...” -- Comey

He could have saved a lot of time by saying it's because they are women. That's his belief. The allegations are "ridiculous" because they are coming from women.

I assume he feels much the same about the abuse allegations against priests, because they are typically SO LONG AGO.

You know, i was going to respond to this, but then I realized I was late for an 11AM appointment to disbelieve some women.

Incandescent anger doesn't restore purged voter registrations or redraw district lines. The senate is controlled by 18% of the US population. There is nothing that voters can do (if they're even allowed to vote at all). We do not live in a democracy anymore.

Where was the dishonesty? SHOW IT, BACK IT UP!!
This is so funny. Do you know that if an idiot asks to be proven an idiot and such proof is self evidently manifest, that idiot will not see the proof on account of being an idiot. The same thing applies to you holding values that aren't really values but the values of moral scum. Your view of the world will always be that you are the victim of unreasonable people because you have no capacity to reason. Your world is built around moral disgust and outrage. Your contempt for immorality is so intense you will never be able to see it in yourself. You will always see yourself as the righteous victim. Your inner condition of of deep humiliation and shame. Somewhere a guitar gently weeps for you.

Good to see that you're admitting this is a nasty and unjustified Swift Boat smear.
