A few weeks ago I got a 802.11g Netgear wireless router, and network card. Since then, about once a day at random Windows will popup with connection lost. I'll go to network properties, hit refresh, and it shows the network being available. I'll click on Connect, and in a second it'll just go back to saying "One or more wireless networks are available, click to see them" or something of that nature. If I click, it'll list the network again, and no matter how many times I tell it to connect it won't.
I often have to go unplug the router and restart it, then it'll connect just fine.
I even went and bought two 6db antennas, thinking maybe it was reception even though the router isn't even that far away from my computer. I've ruled out reception, because even when it loses the connection it still shows the network on the list in the utility and it always says it has near max signal strength.
What is causing the router to disconnect me at random occasionally, and not allow me to connect back up?
