"Keep the Change" Savings account

SWEET!!! Just checked my Keep the Change savings from Bank of America. They finally matched my first 3 months or whatever. Nothing like a free $60

We'll even match your savings.
For the first three months, we?ll match your Keep the Change savings at 100%. That means for every Keep the Change transfer, we?ll contribute the same amount to your account. And when the three months are over, we?ll continue contributing 5% a year, every year - to make it even easier to save. This reward will be paid annually to your savings account.

otherwise, become hardcore and play with the stock. life's too boring just watching your money get tossed around by banks who are doing the same, they invest your 'saved' money anyway. might as well use the same weapons they use.

My friend has the same thing you have. He eats a lot at mcdonalds and other fast food places so he got quite a bit from it. He would sometimes charge a double cheese burger to it so he would get 92 free cents.

Pretty much that 1.08 burger became 16 cents

I have citibank with its Thank You rewards program. it will be 1 year in mid November that is tarted recieving thank you points. I am sitting at 14,2xx points at the moment whic is actually a lot betetr than your "keep tha change" program because for 10,000 points i can get gift cards to places like best buy, circuit city, Borders bookstores, etc worth $100. 800 more point i think (which is roughly 1 month when i hit the 1 year mark) will get me a $150 gift card to any of these places and much more. or i can use them to recieve thigns like clothes, shoes, ipods, etc etc

however you have that bank and $60 is $60 so congrats!
i get roughly $40-60 a year from my american express too for spending which doesn't even cover the interest i end up paying within the year to get that check lol

Your CC is roughly giving you 1% "cash back", the keep the change program will match you 100% of what you save up to $250 free first 3 months, after that, they match 5% of anything you save (up to $250/year I think). So technically, the savings account will give you more back, however, the stipulation is the only way to "save" w/ this program is to use your debit card and build up the "round off to nearest dollar" thingy, which is hard to do haha

It was a special offer when I initially signed up... No clue if they still offer that. But I'm glad I did it

Basically the difference in change between the dollar amount you spend and the next dollar rounded up, they put the change into a savings account. This happens on every purchase.

So you spend $4.25, they round the sale up to 5 and deposit the 75cents into your savings account.

BOA will Match each deposit for the first 3 months, up to $250. This is where the "free" money you seeming do not understand comes into play.

You must be a freaking retard to not understand the terms and conditions. I'm enrolled and it's money I don't miss, but I've already got a few hundred dollars and they have to match that in a years time. I only signed up about 4 months ago.
