As others have stated, USB thumb drive. You can get them up to 32GB nowadays. Thats plenty of 700mb AVI's.

EDIT:
Once you have a bunch of 700mb AVI's, dont use the interwebs for porn browsing anymore.

What if your company lets you install any damn OS you please ( Debian for me ) and doesn't have any monitoring whatsoever?

I'd just buy a 2nd HD and swap them in and out as needed. I don't know about your laptop, but mine takes all of 5s to swap HDs. That way you don't ever have to worry about forgetting to delete something, or if your company has keyloggers or other monitoring software. At the end of the day shutdown your laptop, pop out the work HD, insert the personal HD, boot back up (can also do this to play pc games on the road when your company is anal about letting you install *anything* on your PC).

$50-60 for an 80 GB laptop HD like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16822148444

Linux LiveCD's get around this, assuming it's set to boot of the disc drive (or USB stick) first in the Bios.

Who gives a shit? Just browse away and if "faceshot on horse" shows up in your drop down list during a presentation, just shrug and blame your son.

Chrome and Firefox 3.5 both have private viewing. No history, no cookies, no cache.

However, I really do not want a suggestion from Firefox drop down in front of the customer when they are typing some site in the bar. Or 'I effed you and yo mama' showing up in the list of the recent documents, or just god knows what happening during the presentation.

The simplest way of dealing with this would be... carrying another personal laptop with me. But since I am already carrying a company laptop and a full backpack of photo equipment, weight becomes an issue.

What is the easiest way of keeping work and pr0n separated by a fail-safe Berlin wall? Something that I could never forget to clean up, leave in cache, something that no pr0n could sneak through.

Methinks two profiles would probably do it.

truecrypt + usb key with media player installed on it?

here we go. http://www.break.com/index/clear_download_history.html

LoL. You'd think someone into computers would know better :^D

This is exactly what I'm talking about. It's so easy to forget about, and then you are so busted.

I don't really need to encrypt it - who the hell cares, but I don't want any trace of it.

Easiest solution. Pick up a cheap 2.5" 80 gig (more if needed ), install your OS of choice and swap it in as needed. That way you have no evidence, and more importantly no malware potentially getting installed on the work machine. Also no chance of being monitored, as others have said.

Ok, I'll bite.

Surfing porn on a company computer is downright stupid.

You happy now, Gothgar?

I was thinking just get a netbook if it's that important. I would never, ever surf porn on a company machine.

Should take just seconds to create and delete a user. You should verify that any questionable files are really deleted, if necessary.

Yes, then his corporate IT department runs a file scanner for deleted items before handing him his pinkslip.
