Too bad your team lost to Western Kentucky otherwise they would be perfect so far. Beating UNC isn't any acomplishment. Everyone is doing it.

Also, the 18th won't be a banner day in Kentucky history. Duke is going to spank the kitties and send them home crying.

I'm a former UK student and have been a Wildcat basketball fan all of my life. Yes, awesome that we reach 1800 wins.

Actually, I thought we would start out much better this season than we have. The WKU loss was painful. But, the rest of the season remains. Should be fun to watch with some nice surprises.

Duke has no chance at blowing Kentucky out. When was the last time Duke beat Kentucky? That's right, 1992 when your resident thug Christian Laettner was punching and stepping on peoples chests and didn't get thrown out of the game like he should have.

Has Duke been able to beat UK in their two or three meetings since? No. Has Kentucky been the underdoog in those two or three meetings since? Yes.

The game is also in the same place where UK won the national championship in 1996, Duke has no chance. Bye bye number one in the nation!

Actually, Duke beat my CATS in the start of the 1998-99 season in the Maui classic (the year after the Championship and the comeback from 17 down in the last 10 minutes to send the Dukies home..hehe)....

1st....Sitting in the bottom lower arena during the NC game and watching Prince do what he did was unbelievable!!!!

2nd...While Duke may be the best team, they must remember that teams like UK are the ones to really watch out for. I'm not going to make a prediction because it depends on which UK team shows up (i.e. Remember Western...)...

Anyway, it should be a good game regardless and GO BIG BLUE!!!

You know the sad part, though? All of those redneck losers who will boo and probably throw stuff at Pitino simply for choosing to coach at UofL. Pitino did his part at UK, now he can focus on turning another team around and he's done a damn fine job so far! I love Crum, and all, but am glad to see him gone as coach. Pitino has slimmed the boys down and they beat undefeated Ohio State yesterday despite an injured player that shouldn't have started (and only played 12 min), and suffering from some of the most anal retentive officiating I've ever seen.

But, anyway, congrats to UK for reaching 1800. I hate UNC and Duke both and will pull for the Cats against them anytime.

Hmmm. I used to live in Lexington, I'm a Wildcats fan, and boy do I HATE Duke. The Christian Laettner incident, coupled with them barely beating my Fightin' Illini last year makes me want to smack the toupee off Coach K's fat head.

And Michael Dunleavy is biggest piece of fecal matter east of Luke Walton. I can't get enough of Bill Walton's commentary while Lucas Johnson (Illinois SF) beat the crap outta his kid last year in the NCAA tournament...

"That's not how you play the game! Johnson should be ejected!"

Side note: Why was Bill Walton announcing a game that his SON was playing in anyways? Isn't that a total conflict of interest?
