Kenwood noise canceling headphones $69.99+shipping at Crutchfiled.com

Saw these at Crutchfield. Seems like a decent price. On sale for $69.99, down from $100. Kenwood website puts MSRP at $100-$150. Most comparable headphones are in the $100+ range. Over the ear type, uses one AAA battery and has a folding design.

Not to thread crap, but the cheapest NC headphones I've seen are these I have no experience with those, but have had good results with these.

I don't see how you can associate a good deal with something on CrutchField, but that's just from my own expereince. Good find for those particular headphones, but I'm sure like what solo said, there are others are cheaper that can perform just as well.

you would probably be better going with a pair of sennheiser HD 280 pro, if you need noise canceling headphones in that price range

I thought the HD-280 pros where closed ear headphones and did not have the noise cancellation circuitry. I have found that a lot of the cheaper NC headphones really do not do that good of a job. The Bose units are great, but also $250 or so. I have tried some of the cheaper ($30-45) units, and found them to be either uncomfortable on the ear or the NC circuitry did not work as well.

Yes, I can see some jackass using NC headphone while riding a bicycle. At least he/she will not be around for long. Actually any headphone on both ears is illegal.

I had some $20 Panasonic units and they were completly useless, the NC circuit caused more noise.

I recently purchased a cheap pair of AIWA NC headphones and my experiece was different from yours.

WOW

Cost was like $30 or so and did they do a GREAT job on the airplane.

Tempted by the $250 bose but for $30 well worth the cost.

It's so nice to not have to blast the music to drown out the drones of the jets.
