Kepler/IB wait discussion

Ok, building a new pc. Info in another thread but i figured it might get a little off topic.

I am having difficulties deciding if i should wait for kepler/IB/7990 or just go ahead and get a 7970 and a 2500k. Cause this is intels "tick" cycle as such IB wont be that huge of an increase over SB, please correct if im wrong.

If you have the money to spend on new releases of products then wait and build your system during the summer time?

If you are on a smaller budget then get the best you can afford now and upgrade in the future as you seem fit.

So ask yourself this....is money any concern for you to buy the latest and most expensive products that come out in the near future?

The Hot Deals on SSDs are prompting me to build now instead of waiting, but I'll be re-using my GTX 560 ti instead of buying a new card.

The CPU performance and power differences aren't great enough for me to wait and then deal with any bleeding-edge issues like BIOS problems.

But my current CPU as a dual-core 3 GHz E8400 with 4 GB so a 2500K and 8 GB is a major upgrade. If you already have a fast quad core with 8 GB or there is nothing demanding that you want to play right now you might as well wait.

I suppose so, im in australia btw so summer is now , but in all seriousness the only reason i am even considering buying a new one now is because i lost my pc with the floods here in brisbane recently. With all the delicious games coming out/sitting on my shelf it'll take some self control to hold off on the purchase. Guess thats what i'll so.

Thanks for your help guys, looks like i'll be back in a couple months finalising my build with hopefully a GTX 690.
