So I have a rather unusual problem with my keyboard. I've been playing a video game that uses the keyboard combination "Shift+W" to roll forward, and for the last 3 months my Logitech K200 has had no issues.
Last night, however, I suddenly developed an inability to roll forward. I've spent some time troubleshooting, and have narrowed it down some:
1: The keyboard cannot type a capitol W in Notepad.
2: The keyboard CAN type a capitol W in Notepad on a different computer.
From this, I know that it is not the game, nor the keyboard. I am only left with the computer itself, and I suspect the USB Keyboard drivers have become corrupted.
I'm using Windows Vista x86 with a K200 Keyboard. I need some way to fix this issue. I'd like to start with asking you guys for suggestions, and also asking for a method to reinstall the USB Keyboard drivers in Vista, preferably without a Vista install disk since mine is in storage 2400 miles away. I can pirate one if absolutely necessary, but I don't have a hard copy of the CD Key; I'm crossing my fingers that Magic Jelly Bean works on Vista lol.
