You'd think that looking at someone's finances would be standard for any high level government position. Especially in a case such as Trump, where he is blatantly making domestic and foreign policy decisions based on the impact it will have on his personal finances. He's repeatedly demonstrated a complete lack of honesty, so it's not like you can just trust him to do what's best for the nation instead of what's best for his business. He's a golden example of someone who is vulnerable to extortion/bribery.
At least there won't be any taxpayer money wasted on politically motivated investigations, like Benghazi, the next time a Democrat becomes president, as the Republican's don't like to do investigations on anything anymore... right?
