I am not sure but I may have a keylogger on my system.
1. Is there a way to find out?
2. Is there a way to delete it?
3. Is There a software that I can download, free or not, that I can use? If so will I have to wipe out my hard drive and start over before I install it?
I have read and downloaded most of the recommended software from Schandenfroh Consolidated security thread. However I did not see anything on the detection or preventing the installation of a keylogger program.
I had an exchange student living with us and he and my wife did some things to prevent and monitor my system from browsing sites such as myspace. now he is gone and my wife does not know what he installed or downloaded. However now when I am on the net my pointer has an the hour glass pop up every few min.s. I had a secure e-mail site and some of my messages were deleted that i did not delete (figured that my password was comprimised)
