Keyboard reccomondations

It is tough to find reviews on keyboards. Does anyone know of any particularly good ones or of ones to stay away from? Thanks!

The best thing to do is go into one of those superstores like CompUSA or MicroCenter and just stick your hands on all the keyboards and type and see what you think.

But try reviewclick.com and reviewfinder.com for some reviews.

Surf *eBay*, why pay $15 at CrapUSA for a cheap keyboard when you can get a high quality one on *eBay* for less money. I just got a quality black IBM keyboard on *eBay* for like $10. Look for good keyboard makers such as IBM, also Dell and Gateway keyboards are good.

The Fujitsu 4725 was the standard KB of a lot of Brand Pc's in the past but it costs 3X as much but great kb response and lasts and lasts.
They also have an 8725 which is the budget version not nearly as good.

What do you think of the Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro? It has a large footprint but it includes a wrist rest, an ergonomic design, and hot buttons. I think I might just get this one... I can get it for $40 (I wouldn't spend $70 on this though).

MS Natural Keyboard is Elite At least thats what I have.

I still have this orginial click keyboard that came with my a computer that I bought about three years ago, I think it is one of the best

If you have the means, and you don't mind an old/used keyboard, I would recommend the IBM Model M keyboard. This is a standard 101 key keyboard with several nice feaures:
- Nice clicky feel
- Large and deep keys that are well separated(easy to type)
- removable keycaps(so you can wash them when they're dirty)
- detachable PS/2 cable(the newer ones don't have this though)
- durable exterior(these keyboards average a decade old and I've never seen 1 dead or had 1 die on me)
- No Windows keys(personally I can't stand Windows keys, but its up to you)
- cheap(since they're old, you can get them real cheap, I got all of mine under 10bux)

Some disadvantages are:
- larger than average, but still smaller than those MS Natural KBs
- heavy(the newer ones are a bit lighter though, but still heavier than normal KBs)

I personally like the logitech keyboards. Give them a try.

I like the MS natural keyboards. Don't get a cheap keyboard, some of them really suck, and ones with extra keys are the pits!
I got one for my boss (he didn't want to spend more than $15), it has "power", "sleep" and "turbo" keys where delete, end and page down would be (those keys are shifted up). Highly annoying.
