Keyboard that will reconize more than 2 keys at a time

Just thought i would update.

I got the SteelSeries 6Gv2 onsale for $60

This is by far the best keyboard i have ever owned, the feedback from the keys is like nothing i have ever used in the past. It works with as many keys as i can possibly press at a time and my typing speed has increased at least 15-20 wpm. Guess i will have more time to post now, or make longer posts

Microsoft claimed at Geekhack they will license their Sidewinder X4 NKRO over USB on Rubber Domes technology to other vendors.

As long as it works that's great news, however I can't help but fear this will lead to a wave of lower quality products touted and sold as higher end.

Will just have to hope for the best

most all USB keyboards are limited to 6KRO (10 with modifiers included) however Microsoft has found a way around that limitation

Currently only Microsoft's Sidewinder X4 keyboard is the only USB keyboard that is greater than 6/10 KRO.

Got it, i was under the impression that it was a USB limitation not a all keyboard makers other than MS are to stupid limitation.

Actually the asians are bursting past that 6KRO + 4modifier barrier. Noppoo (Plum), Ducky (Plum) and others.

I doubt they applied for patent licensing. Chinese companies after all.

Hey!!! same problem here..was just about to start a thread when i found this...
My mobo doesn't have a ps/2 port so i used a usb-ps/2 converter to connect both keyboard and mouse to the same port. So whenever i start playing a game like NFS, whenever i press the side arrows, the car decelerates..so i have to press/tap the up arrow again...is this due to the converter??

I have had a SteelSeries 6Gv2 for about 6 months and have been INCREDIBLY happy with it.
