He was still a very efficient compliment to Steve Smith and was a great possession receiver, even in this previous season. I'm not a huge KJ fan but it definitely hurts the Panthers to lose him. With him not on the field, teams can go back to putting heavy double teams on Steve since Carolina doesn't have any other serious receiving threats now. Dumb move on the Panthers part, IMO.

Heh. That's kind of cruel after he was on ESPN's Draft Day crew talking about how he was looking forward to working with the USC WR that the Panthers drafted.

I'd like to say I'd like to see him with the Falcons (they could use a sure-handed receiver) but the Falcons need big help on defense.

haha, he kept on insisting that Dwayne Jarrett was exactly like him and that he could teach Jarrett how to play the game. I guess the Panthers agreed with Johnson and decided they had no use for him now that they have Jarrett.

He was an obnoxious prima donna in his younger days, but he has calmed down. Unfortunately he's also not anywhere near a top 10 receiver in the NFL anymore. Like someone already said, he'll be a decent #2 WR somewhere, not much more.

Patriots have one awesome team right now and I dont think they need or should sign Keyshawn Johnson. He has some ego issues and if you put him and Randy Moss on the same team, it might actually hurt them more than it would help them.

Send him to the Ravens though
