Yup. I hate people who buy that. I mean if you want to be cheap, Coors Light or Bud or Miller is acceptable, but when I show up at a house party adn all they ahve is Keystone, Popov Vodka and $2 gigantic bottles of wine (not 2 buck chuck, but crappier stuff), then I know I'm at the wrong party.

You really, really should have come to our party last weekend. It was a "back to college" themed party, we served (I shit you not) Keystone light in a keg for beer pong, Popov for hard liquor, and Mad Dog 20/20. Those three forms of alcohol should come in a black bottle that is simply labeled "college", people will know what they are.

When i was in college, we usually got busch light. we did get some good deals once in a while, on something like rolling rock (blech) and bud dry. I drank a lot of Barton Vodka back in the day...it was as cheap as popov, but honestly not nearly as bad tasting. it wasn't too bad actually (when compared to other cheap ass vodka). I only had 20/20 once in a college. That was enough.

Oh man those were the days, but I say that ended when I was a sophomore.

Last night I had a party and the guy who hosted it (it was at my place but the planner asked to use my place) dropped $200 because it was a surprise party for the girl he liked. But somehow, it's kinda hard to hide a whole fridge of alcohol, and with teh amount of alcohol I've accumulated from letting people have parties at my place, I swear I could run a bar, but people literally cleaned out my 2 bottles of 151 and were trashed. Well I was pissed because I got drunk too early and didnt notice them stealing from my own stash. Now I have a broken coffee table, and 151 gone but heh.. I'm holding onto the remainder of the $200 alcohol for all the crap they drank out of my own stash and for the broken furniture =P

Anyways, I dunno. I'm kinda past the point of having cheap alcohol even if we're college students. I usually just have a couple of shots at my place first with friends before we head off and leech of of people's cheap alcohol. I don't see what's so fun about shooting Bacardi Gold. That crap is just nasty (not too strong, but just terrible taste). Taking pure shots of vodka to me is just like you want to get wasted. Might as well make something decent like flaming drinks, jaegerbombs, long island iced teas, etc. But yeah if you want to have a huge stash, it's gonna take a while to accumulate. But then I guess it helps when people are always using my place to party and conveniently leaving their alcohol behind =P

Of those three, PBR is definitely the worst. I vow never to touch it again. I hope to never have anything lower than Natty Light, although would prefer never to drink that again, but the whole college kids are broke aspect means that stuff shows up a lot.
