Breath-right strips are worthless for most snorers. In my case, the snoring came from the soft palet in the back of my throat, not the nose. And I'm skinny.

I had surgery to remove part of my uvula. The procedure involved cutting off the end of the uvula and using a laser to burn part of the surrounding area. The remaining scar tissue is less prone for vibration during sleep. The snoring isn't gone completely but it's quieter and less frequent. Overall it was worth it.

This. You might say you're "not overweight," but you might actually be overweight. I bet 90+% of snorers snore because they're overweight. There are so many obese people in the US now that overweight people often don't think they're overweight.

Does your wife go to bed before you do? I've heard of some snorers going to bed after their spouse has been asleep for 30+ minutes. The snoring is sometimes enough noise to keep them awake but not enough to wake them up.
