The $140 collector's edition now includes a mouse pad along with the cloth map and t-shirt

The $165 digital-only edition and $250 signed collector's edition now include the game expansion pack that with be released ~6 months after the main game. This will be a full expansion not a little DLC add-on.

New stretch goals:

$2.7 m - Paladin and Chanter classes added

$2.8 m - George Ziets added to the dev team. "he was the creative lead and core writer behind the acclaimed Mask of the Betrayer - the first expansion pack for Neverwinter Nights 2."

Early on in the Kickstarter campaign, we told you that we wanted to make maps the Infinity Engine way. That is, we wanted to build 3D levels, render them out as 2D images, and then have our artists paint in beautiful details, highlights, and color-tweaks before they went into the game. Looking back at the levels some of us worked on for Icewind Dale, we were still thrilled with the quality that we could achieve with this approach. For Project Eternity, we're using 10 years of improvements in rendering technology and hardware to get the job done, but we still love what we can do the "old-fashioned" way. We hope you share our enthusiasm.

Seeing as Double Fine made 750k in the last 5 days I'd say it's a safe bet that Strongholds are in. I am really looking forward to having a second city though, it will be interesting to watch the last hours of the kickstarter.

I am very tempted to up my early-bird $20 pledge to the $165 digital only tier. Expansion, Wasteland 2, Beta... (and they said they're gonna add even more stuff soon)

That screen is likely the best looking thing I've seen in gaming for nearly a decade. I only wish Wasteland 2 had a style more like that, it's cartoony pre release screen was rather disappointing.

Looks terrific. I think they can capture a certain type of art style going this route that fits in with the fantasy setting really well.

This game could be biblically epic if they deliver what is promised.

Yep. Honestly to me in terms of graphics, the Infinity Engine games are by far the most memorable. Something about it just captures the imagination better than any attempt from modern 3D games.

The screenshot looks great, glad they put it out there. they are doing a lot of stuff lately, which is very nice. I think it's going in a good direction.

In the last Four days they've raised about 370,000 $ !!!

Damn, I might have to go from 140 to 165.. includes expansion and Wasteland 2? Kinda lame that you lose the physical rewards though. I only hope I have the time to enjoy this game when it eventually does come out.

You could just add the $20 expansion pack and keep the box, t-shirt, etc. then get Wasteland 2 separately.

I'm at the $100 level now and will be adding the $20 expansion for sure, but I'm still trying to decide if I want to just do that or move up to another tier.

Good point, didn't think about looking at just adding a digital addon.
