It is at my local Walmart (anaheim) for $15.87.

Nice action flick.

Also from another posts, they have it at BestBuy for $15.99 or buy it w/ Resevoir Dogs for 20 bucks.

I'm going to head over to my walmart with the BB ad and try and get Kill Bill for $10. I already own Reservoir dogs, don't need another.

I would hold off buying Kill Bill Vol. 1, until it gets released again with Vol. 2.

There are no special features or anything with this first release. They're saving all the extra content until later on.

If you haven't seen it yet... go rent it.

Netflix has it in the mail to me right now. I should get it tomorrow. I haven't seen it, so I'm a little excited about it. This weekend or early next week, I'll go see volume 2 in the theater.

Agreed...why buy half a movie now, only to rebuy it when all the good stuff gets released later. I'm really hip on seeing a "behind the scenes" clip becuse Uma does some wicked sick stunts in the movie

Makes me feel better to hear this. I was getting a lot of crap from my buddies for saying that there was going to be a third

No....if he makes a 3, he said that it won't be for another 10 years, and it won't contain the original characters.

In thier Infinite Wisdom (TM) Walmart sells only edited CD's, but has no problem selling R rated movies all day long.

The only way you will get a "cut-up" DVD there is if the studios release an "unrated" and a R-rated version, Wally-world will carry the R version. (American Pie series, etc...)

Walmart doesn't censor movies, only music. Strange, isn't it?

For those complaining about not getting the extras right away. From DavisDVD...

"Tarantino also promises more extensive DVD plans for the revenge films. "I'm going to do a special collector's edition of both of them once I'm finished with both of them," he said. Also in the talking phase, Tarantino is considering the possibility of releasing stand-alone supplemental discs. "One of the things that I saw that I liked... was what the American Pie guys did with their 'Beneath the Crust' documentaries. I want to do the same thing [for Kill Bill]." "

Why would there be a third movie? Where did you get this info? Is there an article or anything out that talks about this? If so, I'd love to read it. Thanks!

I just pray that Vol. 2 doesn't end with a lot of unanswered questions like Matrix Revolutions did. I'm still not over that.

Watching this now (a rental) and liking it with the exception of some animated scenes. A very well put together film from what I have seen so far. But I will wait for the revised version with added scenes before purcashing. May as well wait for the director's cut superbit extended version of the trilogy (quadrology) with the featurette of ' Dude, Where's My Head?'.

Waiting a long time is just strategic marketing...for example, by Tarantino waiting so long to release Pulp Fiction on video, it raised its (and Tarantino's) cult status...would be much different if it plopped out a couple months after the movie..

I just pray that Vol. 2 doesn't end with a lot of unanswered questions like Matrix Revolutions did. I'm still not over that.

It was in the latest Entertainment Weekly (the one with QT on the cover with the dove), he said basically it would involve Vivica Fox's duaghter growing up and seeking revenge on the Bride for killing her mom. He supposedly is playing around with shooting some footage now to use later for flashback sequences for the third film if it ever gets made. So don't worry about being left hanging at the end of Volume 2, because it sounds like Volume 3 will be more of a extended prologue than an essential part of the story.

Not to step on batmanuel's toes but...

here's a link to the info you wanted with Tarantino quotes...

Actually, the exact opposite occurred in the case of Pulp Fiction (at least for my friends and I). It became over-hyped and less appealing as its popularity dragged on. We became interested in other things, and when it was ready for sale, no one bought it.

In case anyone is interested, I plan on buying the dvd this weekend. The Digital Bits gave the DTS track a great review, and that's good enough for me.

I thought this movie would suck so I didn't see it in the theater. I rented it last night...

My GOD. This is the best Tarantino directed movie EVER. I can't wait until Friday.
