I got one of these on an auction for $30 before shipping. I'm not impressed by it to say the least. No-name power supply with a 300W sticker over the original 250W mark. Putting in a MSI K7T Pro board was a hassle since the mounting holes didn't quite line up. Flimsy tray for the HDs. The front panel has to be removed in order to get the side panels off. Accomodates one extra fan in the front.

I say spend some more $$$ and get quality!

Me wonders what the PS is gonna say tomorrow after I fire it up for the first time (Duron 800@1.000, FOP 32). I keep my fingers crossed...

Edit: It is NOT screwless either.

I got mine in today ..... I will let you fellas know how good it is when I get it all up and running. The power supply seems to be legit. I dunno though I will see when it is all done.

Here we go. "Fired" my case up an hour ago. Well, there wasn't any "fire" whatsoever. PS is as dead as can be. :disgust: Put in another PS (after much work) and it's now humming along.

Now I have to deal with those jerks and try to get a replacement PS, and hope that one will work - if I ever get one, that is...

I hope you guys have better luck than me, but I'd stay away from it.

I got mine today. The case looks nice to me. It is kind of a pain to pull the front off to get the sides off but I can live with that. The power supply seems to be a true 300watt
It didnt have a sticker over a 250 watt sticker so maybe Im ok on that deal. Regarding fan space, if it doesnt have enough fan bays then I will simply cut some nice clean holes in the top , use some cheap molding and mount fans in the top. Overall, so far, I am very pleased with this deal.

Can't say for sure, but looking at the pic I think I used this case for a cheap system that we built for this one location(of course it was just plain white and not any cute little color!). Anyway, it was very wobbly and the frame was loosely riveted together, no rolled edges, cheap power supply. Other than that, it's a case! Payed less than $50 shipped too. I just recently bought an enlight, shipped for only $42(250W Sparkle). Shop around, a case isn't something you upgrade like everything else, it usually lasts a while. Spending a few more dollars on quality is a wise investment.

I tried posting this before but it didn't seem to work, so if at first you dont succeed... The Chenbro Genie is the best case I've seen bar none. The cooling is as good as any other case and it has 2 quiet 120mm Panaflo fans instead of having to use 6 loud 80mm fans. The only other mainstream case case Ive seen using the 120mm fan is the new Lite On case. I got mine from coolcases com with all the mods. So before you go with Antec, Addtronics, Enlight or InWin check them out. You will probably have your case much longer than anything else and a good case might let you get an extra 100mhz out of your cpu without resorting to Peltiers. And you won't have to wear ear plugs.

Well I E-mailed these guys over a week ago to inquire about their discount after reading this thread, and they never replied. So I just phoned them and the clown on the other end told me that the $32 price was "just a rumor", insisting their prices are "fixed" as shown on the web site ("fixed" being his exact word, appropriately enough). Then I asked if I could save the shipping by picking it up, since I live nearby, and he told me the building isn't open to the public, but shipping would only be a "LOW" $10 within NJ.

Give me a break! Basically the guy was a total jerk and I wouldn't recommend that anybody deal with this outfit.

Meanwhile, I'm on the lookout for a cheap ATX case for an exra Celeron system I'm putting together out of retired parts, so if anyone has any alternatives please follow up. A colorful case would be nice, as it would probably make the system easier to sell if I decide I don't need to keep it.

I have 3 of these cases, and they've all been fine. No problems at all. Just go to an auction site, and you can get them cheaper than it says on their website.. I haven't paid more then 30+shipping on any of them so far.

The brand , I think , is PC Alliance..... The top is flat but the face top is curved which gives the appearance of a curved top. The face comes off so you can remove the sides. It sounds funky I know but it actually works pretty well and is really quick access IMHO.

Haha....these guys just got their account suspended on eB@y.

Anyway, I found out the cases are "Linkworld" brand, and the mid-tower is a model "219" in various colors. They do look pretty nice but I can't find many places that are selling them. If anyone spots a good deal on these at a more reputable dealer, please let us know.

These cases don't look bad. The only thing I noticed is that they don't seen to have a rear case fan mount.Other than that it looks pretty sweet.Price ain't to shabby either.

I have purchase three of these cases to date at a major online auctioneer. The screwless installation of floppy, hard and CD-ROM drives is great. The first two had 250W power supplies, the last one I got has a 300 W. The shipping box says "Elevation Case 219ATX", Net Wt. 9.8 kgs (22 lbs.) Gross Wt. 10.8 kgs (24 lbs.) 25x50x53cm made in Thailand. I purchased the third case because it was almost as cheap as buying a 300 W power supply. It also came with a 80mm case fan. The cases are well constructed, no sharp edges and have good access to mobo's.
