There's no little locky icon on the credit card entry page. Should I be worried?

regular duracell alkalines will die in my digicam after an hour and a half of taking pictures w/ the LCD screen about 30-40 but my Nimhs last much longer than that

Check your credit card company to see if they have one use numbers. I know Amex and Discover card do. The randomly generated number is linked to your regular account, but it's only good for like one use, so you're pretty well covered.

Yea- I used PayPal . . . they have 150 transactions and they have a Premiere Business Account, so they look rather legit.

Great deal. Been looking for some AAA for the palm pilot and other equipment.

How do you get the free shipping to show up on checkout?

I guess sometimes it pays to wait. I was looking to buy a whole load of batteries too, but forgot about it. ebay also didn't have the right price.

But this is definitely a killer deal. Less than $1.50 per battery after shipping! I just hope that these batteries are good.

All the NiMH's I've seen are 1.2 volts. But they'll work fine in your digital camera. They were made for devices that have a high drain on batteries. That's the whole point of NiMH's. If you use 1.5 volt alkalines in your camera, they'll drop below 1.2 volts pretty quickly, and that's why they seem to get used up so fast. It's not that they're completely dead. It's that they've dropped below 1.2 volts. With NiMH's, the give a constant 1.2 volt charge all the way until they're completely drained. So your camera can use the NiMH's for the entire charge of the battery, while it can only use the alkalines while they stay above 1.2 volts.

So the short answer to your question is, they'll work fine.

How are these compared to the ones on Newegg? Seems like the same brand, but without the slapped on face of POWEREX?

Does anyone know of a review for the charger or own one? Vanson V 1000
It has the same 12V car charger feature of the Maha 204, I need to buy a charger and don't wanna end up with another crap charger like the i concepts i got for free.

Although in most places on the site they only mention OEM, for the D size they say
Very high life curve. Can be recharged from up to 1000 times!

Memory free operation means you can charge MAHA's POWEREX rechargeable batteries anytime you like.

Can be safely charged or rapidly charged using any capable MAHA chargers
Which might lead one to believe they are MAHA's without the fancy label.

No 9-Volts

Anyone know if you can remove the tabs off of the 'C' batteries and use them like normal batteries? Also, what's the difference in the 'C size' and 'sub C size' batteries?

-- edit --

Battery Charger + Batteries for all 5 main types (AAA, AA, 9v, D, C)

This is a decent deal far as I checked. The 4D (7500 mAh), 4 C (4000 mAh) alone are a decent deal for the $69. Thomas Distributing has the 3500 mAh C's for $15.97 for a 2 pack, and 7500 mAh D's for $24.97 for a 2 pack, granted they are the Powerex brand. Throw in the extra batteries and charger, and if you're looking for more than just the AA & AAA batteries, it's a pretty good deal.

I did notice this on the description of the D cells:

Memory free operation means you can charge MAHA's POWEREX rechargeable batteries anytime you like.

Does this mean that they OEM for MAHA batteries? If so, this just got even hotter...

Walmart has the dual (AC & Car) charger, identical to the Vanson V-1000 and 4 AA 1800mAH batteries included for $16.xx and also have 4 AAs for $6.xx. Just bought them last night. They also have a charger with 4 AAs for around $11.00.

Their AAAs are pretty low priced. I have 8 Ni-MH AA batteries and the camera that I use now uses a proprietary battery so I really have no use for AA batteries. I bought some Kodak 700mAH AAA nimh batteries for my brother from Thomson Distributing a month ago and they are great. His MP3 player used to eat through batteries like there was no tomorrow until it met these hi capacity things.

I don't know what rechargeables you use but my MAHA Powerex's last longer than any battery I've ever used. They are the 1600mAH batteries too. I mostly use it in my digicam but sometimes in my son's toys and they last for months in his toys.
