BTW...general experience with pretty much all batteries but MUCH more so with rechargeables...they tend to stop working when it gets TOO cold...for example i took my digicam with me when i went skiing last week (to vermont, where it was fvckn COLD...like teens or single digits even) and it took a few pics in the morning, but a few hours later BLAMMO it said batteries dead. Warmed up in the hotel room and took more pics ;O ... anyone care to comment on this? or maybe someone has some super batteries thta widthstand the cold? i'd like some of those ;P

BTW, there is another thread that is describing a better deal on Duracell AA's and AAA's from Newark Electronics. Check it out. This is a national electronics parts distributor. They don't have the free shipping though, and they have a $5 handling fee on any orders less than $25. I phoned a rep today. He said all orders get shipped out of a S. Carolina warehouse, so shipping to the Eastern States may be less than here in the West?

Since I haven't heard from RedDwarf, I'd be willing to volunteer to buy a large order as long as people pay me in advance thru paypal or something. However, I'm not sure of the cheapest method to get these to people once I get the order. Maybe a cardboard CD mailer?

I have Both dynacharger and BYD's Batteries. BYD's batteries last longer than Dynacharge. Both are worse than my Sanyo
