killer?

I was reading about something called killer, i believe it is a network card but i dont know much about anything in that area, it is designed to reduce latency in games such as WOW and BF2, has anyone tried this? is it worth it? also im going to be running 64bit vista(if that matters in any way)

http://www.killernic.com/, reviews showed some improvements in certain games (but its only worth considering if you have eliminated most other bottlenecks (ie you have a 8800gt/3870 or higher, core 2 at around 2.6 or higher (or quad would be better), plenty of ram and a fast hard drive). It may get you an extra few percent if everything else is already really good, but you are most likely better off upgrading other components.

It's useless, and even if it did anything at all, it costs WAY too much to be worth getting. It's even more worthless than an Ageia PhysX. Seriously.

I reckon in years time the ageia might evolve into something good for gaming.
