Yes, formulate your political opinions on how many likes and dislikes a YouTube video has. Fantastic idea.

Resonating with who? Likes and dislikes on a you-tube video don’t exactly come with demographic information.

As others have pointed out, this is a grossly inaccurate way of measuring popularity. Our online experiences are heavily tailored, that's no secret.

Also, the means liberals making you vote for trump? Lol, that's just funny dude.

Remember, THIS is what youre voting for, and THIS is who you're voting with

I don't formulate political opinions based on YouTube likes. I don't dismiss them either though. The Battlefield 1 trailer had a huge number of upvotes vs downvotes. It was good. The BFV trailer was downvoted like it was Covid, and that game pretty much sucked. When I go to Metacritic, I am typically more interested in the user score than the critic score. They are often times at odds.

Also, is that the worst picture you can come up with? Not great people I'm sure. But at least they aren't burning shit to the ground or kicking a guy in the head on the street.

Massive wealth inequalities in Dem cities. Ever wonder why?
Here’s a hint...better economics, although I’m not surprised you are unable to see that. For instance, the “bottom” in Dem cities is higher than the bottom in Repub cities, which in both cases suck and need to be addresses, but the “top”, or the part that gives the spread that creates the “massive inequities” is much higher than in Repub cities.
Since the bottom is very close to the same in ALL cities, then it must be the upper income earners that makes the inequities of income so disparate.
Given that, the Repub cities tend to have a lower ceiling with their upper earners while Dem coties have more higher income residents and more of them. How else is there massive income inequality for Dem cities vs. Repub enclaves? The bottom starts in the same place...it’s just the Repub cities have a lower upper income strata and fewer upper income members.
Not saying the bottom is great anywhere, because it’s not, but don’t be proud Repub cities have poorer residents vs. Dem cities. Just facts.

Of course, it probably never dented your lead-addled brain that the economic hubs, with the highest income earners, are Dem cities like NYC, Silicon Valley and Cali, Chicago, etc.

So the bottom is the same. Where are Republican cities with tent cities, piss and shit and needles everywhere, and vagrants just waiting to die? Think that NYC's no cash bail is a good thing? Hasn't been helping at all.

And then why do so many businesses and people flee deep blue shitholes for better pastures? Cali to Oregon, Colorado, and Texas typically. NY/NJ/CT area types flee to Virginia, the Carolinas, or Florida. Ever wonder why? And I don't feel the need to add an insult just because it'll make me feel better, because it wouldn't. But apparently for you, it did.

Thats right buddy, anyone who points out how incredibly stupid, angry, evil, hateful, and dishonest you are is a far left type.
You know shit about nothing. You have no fucking clue what a political spectrum is. You've been conditioned by your masters to spot keywords, put a label on everything, then attack people with a standard playbook fueled by propaganda.

Who are my masters? Just attack the messenger. I get it. How about arguing against the video's points without says "Republicans would make it worse" or she isn't a real black?

When you become intelligent enough to realize that disagreeing with people doesn't make them "far left," please let us know. There really isn't much point in attempting to debate someone who starts off by proclaiming themselves a moron.

Protip: would probably be a good idea to adopt some supportable, rational positions yourself before instructing others to perform some re-evaluation. Directions from the afflicted don't really carry any weight, but as a Trump supporter I suppose you have no understanding of this. Also, using youtube likes as a barometer of the validity of political views? Seriously?

*pats head* Awwww. Hey kid, how about you not worry your silly little head, go back to burning ants while you munch on paint chips. We're still waiting on this thread's first fact free moron to finish making a fool of himself. You should wait your turn, it's only polite.

Nice straw man. Surely not everyone here is far left, but it is certainly left of center. When posters say that Hillary is/was "Center-right", and no one calls BS, that shows the skew to the left. You guys have chased out anyone who had a different point of view. There's very few people here left to challenge the narrative and they must be masochists.

I know you won't watch the whole video, but at least jump to 6:10. It's the same thing. An angry mob that doesn't like to be challenged just shuts down the debate instead.

You should see the video of a cop in Buffalo pushing down a 75 year old protester for no reason at all so his head smacks the pavement, blood comes out of his ears, and he is hospitalized. So Trump tweets he could be an Antifa provacateur, just because Trump is human garbage, and the comments from Trumphumpers about this all over social media are basically cheering on this guy's injury and he gets death threats galore while in the hospital. Lovely group of people.

These deep blue cities that you speak so ill of are the economic engines that drive this country. Last I checked we are primarily a services based economy. That's based around cities. I think about 70% of our economy is services based now. California is still the worlds 5th biggest economy. Blue cities are not just in NJ/NY/CT either. Look at North Carolina - the economic engines of that state are Charlottesville and the Research Triangle of Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. Austin in Texas. Etc... All very blue. Highly educated populations that tend to vote Democratic, by a large margin. I'm talking 60-70% plus voted for Hilary in 2016 or thereabouts. I'm a member of a group on Facebook (joined post Covid so it's a busy group) of New Yorkers considering leaving the area or that have left and share their experiences. Most though just move to NJ, Westchester or other parts of NY State or CT. But when they do go South - trust me when they leave they do leave for more space and cheaper cost of living in those states, for job opportunities or for family usually, but the vast majority don't stray far from the bigger cities in those states specifically because they are more blue and not regressive. Especially the mixed race families and the queer folk. They stay far the fuck away from the redder areas. You mention Virginia, Colorado and Oregon. They are all turning blue, North Carolina is getting purple - these city folks that leave still bring their smarter ideologies with them. And on and on.

Cities tend to have the most visible issues because of population density, and other reasons. Why be homeless on the side of a highway in bumblefuck West Virginia? How will you survive? From what scraps? It's also not as dramatic to show the spread out rural poverty. You do know the opiod crisis is big in rural America too, just the needles are spread farther apart.

It’s funny to hear these trolls complain about no one willing to have a conversation when questions have been asked by multiple people for more information in order to have such a discussion. Instead of even attempting to answer such questions, these trolls, complain that everyone is being mean to them. Talk about snowflakes.

Couldn't even bother to link the video? They guy should've left the area like the others. A cop gives him a slight push and it looks like he lost his balance and fell and hit his head hard. It's a bad look and I wouldn't want that to happen to anyone. But what are police supposed to do? They have no fucking clue anymore. That's why 57 resigned just after that.

I'm not going to do your job and show me people sending death threats to the guy because that sounds too absurd to be true. And yes, people are leaving deep blue cities in droves for purple areas typically, not deep red areas. I am one of them.

What would you like me to cite in particular? I don't want to waste too much time as I'm not going to change your mind anyway.

I’ll take a citation for any and all claims claims you made. I’m persuadable by facts, start laying them down.

Fairly obvious but we will see it in the census. Nobody denies blue states are losing population. Oh, and now because California can't keep their lights on. The 5th largest economy in the world. Sounds like gross mismanagement.

The 57 resigned because the Cops who did it were charged for assault. What are the police supposed to do? Not fucking push old men to the concrete pavement for no reason. This isn't rocket science. I have no problem with cops dealing with actual violence, but this? It's just one of many video examples of police excesses during the protests, but it sticks out a lot because Trump weighed in with his sickness.

https://www.google.com/search?q=buf...rome..69i57.4588j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 pick your media source. Whichever makes you happy. You can even find an article where the guys lawyer said she was getting threats too. The fact is the president drove his people to a frenzy by implying this was a "setup" by a potential "ANTIFA provacateur" with his tweet. That's your president. Siccing his frothing base onto a helpless old dude in a hospital with a conspiracy theory because they eat that shit up. When this happened I saw multiple articles on Facebook on it and went into the FB comments section. It was obscene. Comment after comment from Trumpists saying the old guy deserved it. That's putting it nicely. I was grossed out by humanity and Trump for knowingly leading the charge.

There are nutty far left fringe assholes. Arrest them if they are being violent, and many have been. But the description of them says it all, FRINGE. Aka a small amount. A large part of Trump's whole base is nutty. In the millions. You have heard of Q Anon right? Major Trumphumpers. All loony tunes. Millions of them: https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-n...ions-members-facebook-documents-show-n1236317

Yes people do leave the biggest cities. It's migratory and cyclical. They are expensive and urban life is not for everyone - I do hope a silver lining to Covid is that prices get corrected a bit in NYC - but anyways, people leaving are often those that make families and need more space. Younger people move in, the cycle continues. It's a little different this year only because of Covid, people out of work are leaving to be with family outside the area due to economics, but Covid is an outlier. Still NYC's population saw steady growth pretty much from 1981 until 2017 when it barely dropped in '18 and '19 https://www.macrotrends.net/cities/23083/new-york-city/population

Amazon and Facebook just leased a bunch of office space in NYC within the last couple of months. It seems some of the most successful companies in modern history are placing their bets on NYC being a big draw again once Covid is corralled. Feel free to bet against them.

Would you rather them arrest the guy? That's why the cops resigned. They aren't being told what they can do anymore. They're fucked either way. That's why you get some couple assaulted in Portland and the guy gets kicked in the head, for what? Supposedly trying to help a transwoman.

Have to admit I'm surprised Miami has a Republican mayor. That county votes blue all the time. The guy in that video has a great heart. Wish I could help him out. As much as I hate "Scarface" there is certainly truth in drug money building that city. Then the influx of tri-state area people making it their second or new home.

How about just calmly talk to the guy like he's a human being. You know, the humans you are being paid to serve. If he doesn't move you can arrest him, no need to assault him then either. You have a problem with cops being told what they can do sometimes? That's nuts. Do you even think before you type? Cops don't want to be told what they can do anymore? Disturbing generalized blanket statement. You would make a fine gestapo. Hope you move far away from a blue city, and then keep on moving.

How about - Dear cops, you are fucking paid professionals, act like it, don't assault peaceful protesters. Again, you are PAID PROFESSIONALS. Act like it.

Just from the NY area, and just from videos that were made AND went viral enough to be seen by media: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/07/14/nyregion/nypd-george-floyd-protests.html

The fact is this is when the police were under the biggest microscope for, well, police misbehaving. And many of them still couldn't restrain themselves. Maybe if they only dealt with the actual bad guys, people wouldn't be so damn angry at them. It's only more noticeable now because now we all have video cameras on us everywhere we go.

Also, when you have 90 good cops out of 100, when those 10 do something wrong and the 90 don't say shit, for whatever reason, whether their own lack of morals or fear of retribution, well, now you have 100 bad cops. Cops have a tough job, and in some cases should be paid more. But they also need to be held more accountable, and the brotherhood that bands together to protect bad behaviour needs to be broken as well.

I'd be OK with that. "Hey Joe, talk to this old timer and see what his problem is". Then the rest keep pushing on. What I meant was cops aren't given guidance anymore as to what they can and cannot do and how to handle escalation. A lot of shit has changed very quickly as to what is and is not acceptable, not just with police. That push was clearly not intended to knock the guy over. But it happened. I think cops resigned because they had no idea when even a little force would be acceptable.

I don't think they attack peaceful protesters. They have enforced curfew in the past months as is their job. They have to react to the agitators in the crowd as well. Unfortunately when that happens all hell tends to break loose. You have seen cops kneeling with peaceful protesters, right?

Sounds like they need to take the West Point pledge.

"A cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do."

At least you admit cops have a tough job. They should be held to a higher standard and they should be paid more to uphold that standard.

Here is a perfect example. Not only did you link to the New York post but you also cited an article that’s based its findings on, wait for it, the police themselves and who’s data isn’t cited in any of its links and instead link back to its own tabloid headlines. Ironically the article you posted didn’t bother linking to or talking about how the NYPD numbers have been disputed and reported on by the New York post.

Here is a better source which also talks about bail reform in other cities (such as New Jersey).

Fairly obvious but we will see it in the census. Nobody denies blue states are losing population. Oh, and now because California can't keep their lights on. The 5th largest economy in the world. Sounds like gross mismanagement.

Did you bother reading what you posted? Despite being in the highest tax burden quintile California ranks right in the middle in terms of percent that want to leave, or put another way, 2% more than the lowest quintile for people who want to leave.

What your link doesn’t do is back up your claims. It’s also a pretty disingenuous claim as it ignores business that decide to start up in California. It certainly doesn’t point to mismanagement as you say.

Look up the stats she uses. Then refute them.

I posted my response to the OP and I’m still waiting for an answer. Perhaps you can answer it.

Looks like 99% of people here think your posts are bullshit. Now I'm not formulating an opinion based on that fact but let's be honest we can't dismisses this either.

Smartass. This is on a much longer scale than a video viewed by hundreds of thousands.

When you use Shit sources you tend to end up with flawed opinions.

You can see my responses in bold.

We can go back and forth all day with this shit.

The percentage of New Yorkers saying the changes would be good for the state dropped from 55 percent last year to 37 percent in January. Prominent politicians, including Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio, backed a new bill to roll back many of the changes, which passed April 3.

Shit sources? And you cite Vox? Why don't I go check Fox News?

So you have a win with California. Check out the top 10 though. One Red state, two purple, seven blue. And this is just based on taxes. Try getting a U-haul from California to Texas. I just check SF to Austin and you're looking at $2100+. The other way around? $850+. SO yea, people are leaving even glorious silicon valley in droves.

As for the stats in the video, no I will not help. I've spent way too much time on this already. No one is changing anyone's mind here. Goodnight.

You seem to be struggling with the point of this topic and moving the goal posts to get you out of your bull shit.

For one, the politico link you posted (which I had already read and you clearly didn’t) also posted a link to an article why the NYPD’s claims of an increase in crime was in dispute, a claim which you have chosen to ignore.

The reason I posted the vox article is because it also talked about other cities and their implementation of bail reform. I’m not sure why it matters though, you clearly didn’t read either article.

I would also rethink about highlighting the success of Texas, a state that is slowly turning blue.

I’m not quite sure why you think highlighting the success of other states is relevant to the discussion though. Your whole line of thought really has nothing to do with the topic at hand. A topic you have yet to actually discuss despite repeated requests. I wonder why?

And you sound like Trump, and seemingly not particularly better informed. You're quite opinionated, however. You're entitled you your opinions but don't expect them to be respected unless they're based in fact. They're obviously not particularly that.

I submit you DO allow YT likes to sway your political opinions, that's why you said it. It's very ignorant to do so. For two reasons, one being what I already said, online experiences are heavily tailored to each person, it's almost impossible to get around that. Next would be the extent that foreign powers influence simple online platforms like YT, FB, Twitter, etc...we know they do, it's not debatable.

Comparing a political piece on YT to BF 1 is ridiculous. Just another ridiculous thing you're saying here.

Thanks for hand waving away the photo to prove that it's not people being mean necessarily that turns you off, it's who they're being "mean" to. An objective person would find many many photo's, video's, etc...from the last 12 years of American conservatives (and other countries conservatives) being extremely mean and violent towards others. Bear in mind that conservatives commit violence to non-conservatives at a 2:1 ratio. Oh, and violence against others also is encouraged by Trump, many times, and sometimes he even offers to pay their legal fees.

It's good to know you don't really care about that, so you can stop using it as a reason to vote R this year.
