Kindle Offers - Lots of surprisingly good deals

Kindle FIRE owners - be on the lookout for some pretty sweet deals...

I thought I'd share a couple of great deals I got recently as examples - they continue to do these, I just cannot keep up with them. But they are some really amazing prices.

This weekend I picked up:

1) Kindle Paperwhite - $19

2) Segate backup portable 1TB HD - $25 (link: http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Backup...dp/B00H4XH5FY/ ) Retails for $70.

You have to have a kindle w/ special offers lock screen turned on to get them.

To give you an example of how quick they go, they had 10,000 of those HDs and I watched the countdown clock and clicked through as fast as I could and I barely got one. They sold out in seconds. Ditto the paperwhite.

Hmmm... only for kindle fire owners. Sounds like a pretty solid plan to sell more of them ASAP. I wonder how long these types of deals will last.

Oh man, that whitepaper would have been awesome for $20. I only turn on my kindle maybe once a day. Is it worthwhile signing up for their texts? Most of the time I guess I would be at work with no access to the kindle.

I dont have text messaging on my phone (I know, I know), but based on the deals alone, I'd probably do it. I can't tell you how much spam is involved.

I don't think I've ever seen an even halfway decent deal on my paperwhite, and I use it several times a day. Par for the course is the ad for a waterproof case for the paperwhite-on sale for $70-close to the full cost of a paperwhite.

True cheapies know that if they want to read their paperwhite in the tub to put it in a 25 cent ziplock bag first.

If the kindle is truly a 2nd gen it should be eligible. These are "limited time special offers" and are different from the normal special offers.

Pretty sure amazon will refund you the $20 if you put special offers back on your device. Follow the directions to add them back here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...deId=200671290 but first email amazon and ask if you can get a $20 promo credit.



In the same vein as the OP, I recently got a Acer C720 Chromebook ($199) for $50 through the special offers. Had to leave work to go get my tablet at my apt though.

I have a paperwhite and I don't think I've ever read the specials offers once. =(

I've picked up a few things from this. I'm subscribed to the txting. I get a single text maybe, once a week. The last two things I picked up was a $60 Acer Chrome book (which I use EVERY day now lol, LOVE the thing) and also a $55 256GB Sandisk SSD I think it was the Ultra 2?.

I've seen a keurig for $20 add a few other things, but at point in time I didn't need them. Needless to say I love these deals.

their prices are really good compared to other tablets. they are always good. no matter if you want to read book or want to surf the internet. and amazon usually have nice deal for them.
