be careful of buy.com. they have horrendously slow shipping. i ordered a 6800 from them on monday morning. it still hasnt been shipped. you'd think they'd expedite my order since i chose overnight shipping...but NO!!

Well from my experience I've never ordered anything that was in high demand from them. I've always ordered something well in stock and have had no problems yet. Lets hope it stays that way.

Yep I'm still waiting for my keyboard/mouse combo from them. Best part is they've outsourced their phone support to India and the CSR's seem to have no clue. Three times they've told me to call back in an hour and maybe someone will be in that can take care of me.

Just so you guys know, this is a usb 2.0 compliant drive. It does not actually transfer at usb 2.0 speeds. Checking the model numbers on kingstons site confirm this. This is nothing more than a usb 1.0/1.1 drive.

Oof. Didn't catch that one. A look at Newegg's page even confirms that. Sequential speed/write speed: 6.1 MB/sec & 1.5 MB/sec.. Put in a cancellation request, hope it goes through

man that sucks. i dont think its their fault though...they are probably instructed to read info off the website. the csr's are gonna be as good as they are trained. if i blame anyone, its buy.com CEO Scott Blum. He should manage his company better
