The only thing I'm NOT liking about paying through Google Checkout to Buy.com, is that the order does not show up on Buy.com's site, although it DOES show up on Google Checkout's site, I do NOT get a TRACKING NUMBER at all, only a couple of emails and a notation on Google Checkout's site that the order has been shipped. Buy.com does not email tracking numbers, they only list them on their order status page, which would be OK if the order was showing up there, unfortunately it is not.

I got a tracking number for mine. Check your Google account and you should see transactions with order numbers that you can look up on Buy.com. Worked for me.

I am not seeing a place on Buy.com to search for order numbers(there is two distinct order numbers for the same order-one from Buy.com and one from Google Checkout), all I get is a list of recent transactions, in which the Google Checkout order is not being listed at all. I am seeing the order and the communication history on the Google Checkout's order detail page that states the order has been shipped, it does not say anywhere on there what the tracking number is.

I see an order lookup link before I log in at Buy.com, but it doesn't for me either.

You should get an ORDER # from Buy.com, since they send you an order confirmation via email. GOOGLE CHECKOUT also lists the ORDER # in the purchase history, indicating a message was sent to you by Buy.com and should state something to the effect of...

"Buy.com has sent the following message: 'Your Buy.com Order number is: xxxxxxxx.'"

You should be able to use that ORDER # to track the shipment through the Buy.com website.

I have tried doing exactly that for a couple of dozen times now over the last 24 hours, hoping it might be a case of "their order pages might need a little time to catch up", but it is still not showing any tracking numbers.

Found my problem, apparently Buy.com's order lookup does not work in Firefox 1.5(at least it didn't work at all in mine anyway). I broke down and tried looking it up again with IE6 and it finally looked up my order, and I got my tracking number. Lesson learned for next time.

Shipped Friday, and supposed to ariive Tuesday by FedEx Ground, which is exellent for free shipping!
