Just out of curiosity, how much difference would there be from 2-3-3 to 2-3-2? Or is it just more appealing to have faster ram in the hopes of achieving higher bandwidth from overclocking the memory?
I build custom PCs for my friends all the time but have only recently had to jump on this higher performance ram b/c the cheap stuff that I usually get from Fry's caused my budget dell to go completely unstable. BTW, these are running dual chan 2.5-3-3 and are completely stable on my Dell 4600 3.2E. I think the Fry's LEI stuff was 3-4-4 or 3-4-8 and was fine running dual channel at PC2700 (166Mhz) but went haywire when I upgraded the CPU and the Dell upped the FSB to 800.
