I think its about on par with the orig vertex(maybe a little faster?), but slower than the vertex 2 in writes by alot, and little slower in reads

There's nothing less truthful or dishonest about offering a rebate and terms to which a customer has to comply with, so long as they don't use the rebate's fine print to hide some unusual demands in getting it fulfilled.

They are counting on laziness and I can't fault them for that. If a buyer can hunt down a deal, order, track, receive, install, test, etc. a product, but can't bother spending 4 minutes filling out a form, clipping a UPC code and stuffing it in an envelope with their outgoing mail...
