Just got back from OM, got me 5 spindles, excelent deal. Also, for anyone else in souhern CA theres still like 4 left at the store in Rancho Cucamonga on Foothill Blvd. between Milakin and Haven. Also, while I was there, i noticed there was some sorta deal on a spindle of HP CDr's. some thing like $5 or something?? i dunno, can anyone confirm or inform me on this?? Also, what does "BUMP" mean?

My local OM wanted $24.99 for these. The lady just gave me a weird look when I asked about an instant rebate. Oh well, it's probably because I'm not in the 48 contiguous (however you spell that) states.

Yeah, i went by my local OM in saratoga today. They had about 40 or so, plus the lady said there are more in the back room. Just picked myself up 11 spindles and the lady gave me a dirty look. Now i have enough cds to last me summer, hopefully

Ok, I take that back. These must be new Khypermedia discs. My old 8X khypermedia sucked at when I used them for VCD/SVCD. These new 16x ones are different. They hold the video and audio quality much better than previos versions.

I went at 1 in the afternoon to my local Office Max and they were all sold out of the Kingstons. The Khypermedias were there for a little bit more but it just wasn't the same as getting CD's for 18 cents each :<

I just got in on the Black CD-R's @ amazon for $14.99 shipped (used a $5 promo)

Two weeks ago I was @ OfficeMax buying HP (Taiyo Yudens) 50-pks for $10/each after MIR (got 2)

Now this!!!

These are my CD-R's of choice for &quot;crap-ware&quot; videos, back-ups, discs for friends...

Where will it end???

Went to the Officemax in Rotterdam, NY. They had a bunch on the shelf, got 5 spindles for myself and 2 for a friend. This brings me up to about 500 blanks.

The 12x's don't have the thickest of coatings (they're pretty translucent), but it's better than nothing.

Just got back from the Davis OM with 6 spindles (4 for me, 2 for friend). They still have plenty in stock. I've been using Imations for the last 15 months and they've worked fine, these Kingston ones look (and smell) the same so I don't anticipate problems. I've recently rediscovered the beauty of AOL chatrooms once again (been looking for a good alternative to Scour and Napster), hehehe.
