Any quick links to a place to see performance comparisons for various brands and models of SSD's? Last time I looked this was one of the good drives, but I don't know what is currently the best of the best in SSD's.

In regards to performance, we doubt the target audience will have any complaints. It is in the top group of Sandforce 2281 drives on the market, delivering 555 MB/s sequential read and 528 MB/s sequential write in the ATTO Benchmark. As we noted earlier, the write result is actually higher than the Kingston official claim of 510 MB/s.

IOPS performance is also in the top sector of Sandforce results, scoring over 41,000 IOPS in our 4k random write test. The only real weakness would be incompressible data throughput, which is a widespread weakness with the 2281 controller. Other drives, such as the Samsung 820 Series make more sense if this is a priority.

snagged one, couldnt resist, benchmarks show it would be 2 times faster than my old Crucial M4 64gb and Kingston V100 drive. Although in real world desktop use probably would not notice.

80 dollars for a faster biger drive was an easy choice.

Now If I can just pull the trigger on a second 7970 (scared of crossfire issues)

There was an ADATA 120 gb SSD on sale for $80 at Newegg over the weekend. I ALMOST bought it...but now I think I'm going to buy this one.

This is intriguing since I have an older system with an Athlon x4 and integrated graphics. I really don't do anything demanding that would justify the purchase of this SSD. Maybe if I bought a graphics card then I could game but the most demanding thing I do now is have maybe 20 tabs open or watch movies, etc.

Maybe if I am convinced of the great benefits ...

but i snagged one anyways, great drive at a fantastic price.

Managed to get in there and get one for my laptop. $90 for a Samsung 830 for my workstation(that sold out) a couple weeks ago and a Kingston HyperX 3K for my laptop for $80; my SSD shopping is finished for a few years.
Heck, the crappy OCZ Vertex2 120G that I bought a year ago cost nearly $300, it's a doorstop now, so I'm just about even...
