I know
But I don't think its ever gonna drop in price...not until like PC3800 or whatever is next. Corsair doesn't drop until the next one comes out, and even then it doesn't really drop (XMS3000, 3200, and 3500 are all the same pretty much). Plus this TwinX junX just came out :Q I got some money burning a hole in my pocket from parts sales....argh!!!! There were rumors of mem prices dropping after Chinese New Year b/c of the RAM makers in Asia, but I ain't seen any drops on Corsair :disgust:

They're dropping slowly. It's noticeable if you don't check the price everyday. You've got some money to burn?? w00t...Donate to the poor...namely me.

Next time I light a cig with a C-note I'll think of you
But yah, I think the TwinX has dropped like $7 in the last week or so. I'll probably pick it up soon as I don't expect it to drop sub-$400 within a month. Plus with the recent announcements that DDR-II won't even be fully supported on mobos until middle of next year, it should have a nice useful life.

I think prices are going to keep coming down. Especially on 2700 & 2100. I wouldn't be suprised to see them dip below that crazy stuff we saw last time when crucial 256 pc2100's were going for like $30 shipped.

Has anyone seen PC3000 before? If so, what good is running at 370Mhz? Or is it just for overclocking in place of PC2700?

I paid $87 + tax for sticks of 256MB Corsair XMS3200C2' a month ago, and now they're still roughly the same price.
