What's the difference between www.kingston.com, and shop.kingston.com? The former is more expensive; it doesn't offer any discounts that shop.kingston.com does. KHX3200A/512 is $140 at www.kingston.com and $98 at shop.kingston.com.

How do these stack up to Crucial and Corsair?

If you're looking for the "kit" version with 2x256...
You have to go through the original link, use the "Find Memory" link, do a search on "DDR PC3200".
pick "KHX3200AK2/512" - 512MB Kit HyperX DDR 400MHz 2-3-2-6-1.
Regular price is $150 - now $105.
Thanks for the heads up.

It's cheaper to buy two of the same single piece of memory than the kit.

That's what I did. Don't let the kid behind the counter just hand you the first two packages he comes to. I had mixed codes on the first try. I asked for one more box (he looked at me like I was nutz) and got a match.

Also, can someone explain what specific purpose HyperX serves over ValueRAM? Is it just as compatible? It's not listed on their site when you search by motherboard, for example, so I have to wonder.
Meanwhile, Crucial memory keeps going up.
