Kingston SSDNow V - Do I install Intel INF Drivers?

Just wondering if I should install the chipset drivers if I'm using Kingson's 40gb SSD drive.

Device Manager can't find the "Mass storage controller" and I'm not sure I should use it or not.

Sure makes a 2 year old Sony 1.5ghz Pentium dual-core notebook, 2gb ram, and windows 7 run fast as hell.

Just want to keep it this way from now on. Hopefully the Kingston TRIM support will be coming soon. Odd that it's just not a simple firmware update like Intel's 40gb drive. Wouldn't that work? What's different about those two drives?

Chipset drivers are for your chipset, not your storage drive.

Once Kingston comes out with a new firmware, updating it should be identical to the way Intel drives are flashed.

The reason why you can't use Intel's firmware is because the Kingston drive has a Kingston device ID, not an Intel one. Intel's firmware only runs on Intel device IDs.

Plus who knows if there's any other differences.

I thought I read on here somewhere to not install it and just use whatever Windows 7 64 bit uses instead since the chipset drivers were made for rotational hard drives and not SSD's. Could be wrong but wanted to ask anyway.
