the latest 4in1 drivers i believe is 4.3. on iwills site it tells me i should use version 4.23.

any suggestions on which one i should install?

Is the 4.23 working fine for you?
If so, let me know and stick with it...
I tried 4.29, 4.30, 4.31 and 4,32 and all of them gave me headache... My windows have always one or two programs crashed... THAT REALY ANOYS ME... sorry i'm brazilian so I can't curse very well in english...

The 4in1 version 4.23 drivers are working fine for me:
KK266, TBird 800, 256MB, GF2MX, 45GB IBM GXP75, HP CDRW,
internal Zip 100, Bios 0415, Win98 and mandrake 8. I
had trouble with power-saving mode but new video driver
seems to work.

I'm still using the onboard sound. I was going to get a
SBLive, but then the whole SB/686B thing came up, and the
sound is good enough for me. I grabbed the latest drivers
for the sound chip from cmedia. I have not had any problems
with file corruption with the zip drive.

Thank you... I'll re-install my windows right now, to ensure that the proper drivers are installed.
Actually, I don't have a zip drive. Any .zip file bigger than 60 megs get corrupted.
In this new installation, I'll remove my SBLive! forever ( will give it to my little brother install it into his PIII 450 ).
Hope it solves my problems.

Nope. But I'm not much of a sound expert anyway... as long
as the explosions rattle the windows I'm happy.
