just to clarify... if you read the post... it is clear that i am implying i have the ht in my living room and pc speakers on my computer.
ok im sick of this. ok here you go... you are right yup... it is a total impossibility that i know anything about speakers or that a college students know engineers. totally impossible that anyone could know anything about speakers or at least that anyone could know anything more than you. i dont own the ht, klipschs, logitechs, the little pc speaker in my computer or else anything including a computer and the keyboard i am typing this on. logitech pwns everyone else in everything including things they havent made yet but will make in the future. you are apparently god and know more than everyone else. logitech shoudl come out with cpus and gpus because they would pawn intel, amd, nvidia, and ati. you win... i hope you have a nice life with your inferiority complex.
Actually, I never argued with you that Logitech was any good. I am just letting you know that you can make a point without lying. I, too, am a college student and I am interested in audio, although I don't breathe it like some people around me. I page through various magazines and read a lot on sin and other boards and I just had to say that it is very unlikely that your friend ran tests on multimedia speakers in the labs. It just goes back to the 99.9% of statistics people give online are BS. Seriously though, I understand the klipsch sets are better for the discerning ear, but as was stated many times in this thread, most people are more than happy with their logitech set-ups so I will leave it up to the consumer to choose for themselves as his or her opinion is what ultimately matters.
And, for the record, I was interested in your 2 amazing HT setups (when did it become one?) because I, as a college senior who relies on engineering internships during the summer along with small IT and programming gigs during the year for my cash, am still amazed that you have the cash to afford not one, but two real, stereophile ranked quality (well, you never said everything was stereophile ranked, but that is the impression I get from ULTRA HIGH END)setups for your apartment?!? Do you make a bagillion dollars? It breaks the bank for me to buy $350 HD-650s and even a simple amp, hehe. I could not even concieve, at the moment, of being able to afford your purported promedia 4.1s, 5.1s, z-560s and z-680s!
You could be telling the truth, who knows? But, as most people who frequent any forum have seen, there is a good chance you just bent the truth a bit to sound smarter than your average bear.
