Klipsch KB-15 bookshelf speakers

Anyone have these or tried them out? I currently have a logitech z5300e system that's about 6 years old and I'm looking to upgrade. I was going to start with the Yamaha 373 receiver, these for the fronts and the polk ps10 sub that's $85 on newegg. I could move these to rear speakers later on and get something better for up front.

These weren't really on my list until BB put them on sale today. $99 seems like a decent price.

Well I went to best buy and they sounded the best of the bookshelf speakers on display so I bought them and the Yamaha 373 reciever. $330 total, I don't have any point of reference other than the logitech z5300 but the Klipsch speakers sound so much fuller than the Logitech. I do need to order that Polk sub tonight though.

Was going to say these would absolutely outperform your Logitech's, but you found that out on your own.

I might already have it, thought worst case these could be used as surround speakers. But i would have to be able to hear something better to replace them as fronts.

Newegg has some Polk Audio R300 floor speakers for $50 each ($100 pair) with free 3 day shipping...

At budget prices, you typically get more for your money going for bookshelves rather than floor standers.

I'd wager a bet the KB-15s sound better than those Polk towers.

If I could buy my set up again, I'd go with bookshelves for the front and find a TV stand to sit them ontop of to reach ear level.
