I have the SWS sub attached via line out on the Klipsch Sub, via rca to the SWS, I have no issues with it, tho I havn't run it thru a reciever like you have.
I got mine this week. I am absolutely stunned at how musical it is, not to mention it adds a nice rumble to COD. I like it so much and the price is so good I am considering replacing the 150 Watt Infinity sub in my Home theater with 2 of them. I am currently running it with a pair of Radio shack Linaeum tweetered (I know, Radio Shack? but very nice speakers with an exceptional high-end tweeter design and unfortunately discontinued) and an Onkyo DS575 Reciever connected to Audigy 2. If you are need of some reasonably priced low-end, jump on this deal!
I have no idea what you mean by receiver to phono input? I run mine from the Onkyo's subwoofer pre-amp out using an AR made-for-subwoofer-use RCA cable.
