Knight Online players

After seeing a thread about this in OT (haha), I started playing. WAY better than Guild Wars, IMO. I started playing Saturday night (took forever to download the Torrent, but way faster than 9 hours from one of the non-torrent mirrors.

Anyone else playing? What race, class and server?

I've got a lvl 15 human warrior and a lvl 25 human fire mage on the Odin servers.

In case you don't know yet, if you create a character on either Odin server, it will be available on both Odin servers (Odin1 and Odin2). They share the same character databases, apparently.

I have an archer on Belarus (or whatever) that's ~lvl26 iirc. Haven't played for a while, got bored with it like I seem to with all the free MMORPGs.

Edit: I play a female character and I've had no less than 3 guys from Turkey try to pick me up, lol. They don't quite seem to grasp that perhaps.. just perhaps.. female chars just MIGHT be played by males...

Anyway, you think its better than Guild Wars? Thats a little bit of a stretch don't ya think? The graphics on Night Online is from like SIX years ago! Guild wars is WAAAAY better graphics. But N.O.'s gameplay is still fun and I like the fact the upper levelers can help the N00bs out by joining partys and sharing EXP.


For a FREE online game its pretty decent.

Meh. Maybe I think it's better than GW because I got bored of GW really fast? I like the skill variety and game play a lot better than GW. The graphics are pretty good, but I wouldn't say they're better than GW. Maybe equal? The character and world detail is much better, cleaner, maybe more sharp than GW. GW characters look like cartoons and all the armor basically looks the same. In KO, you've got different armors from different castles and things that change quite a bit, more broad range of skills and professions. It's just more fun to play.

I know I'll get bored with it, like I do every other game. There's a lot more replay value with KO than there is for GW. The story line in GW is much more linear. Once you've created one of the four basic characters and played with a few levels of skills, the game pretty much gets stagnant. There's much more to explore in KO.

Yeah, Wes is having that problem too. He's been able to log in once since Tuesday morning. I have absolutely no problem with logging in here at home though.
